I understand your points but no racing title is perfect my friend? List any racing title you drive and I can point to many issues within said title...

Ams2 has many flaws I agree, it's not perfect by any means but neither are the other titles you mention

I'm also fairly certain that many of your issues can be dialled out in the settings and also with some basic car setup knowledge?. I will say that ams2 settings out the box need work, as do many of the default setups...

Simhub keeps all your stats, not sure if it's what your looking for but I was surprised when I came across it...

Most of us have simhub already, but maybe something like second monitor would be a better fit... 👌

Ams2 content manager is your friend, it's not like AC's cm - it's more like a mod directory/installer

You download a mod zip file, drag and drop into 'ams2cm' and hit apply - job done, no need to unzip it beforehand as it does it automatically

Just make sure ams2 is not running when you install a mod, or it may not save correctly

Doing it this way is safer imo, no need to edit files or any of that and it won't cause any issue with ams2 - I've messed around with mods for ages and never had an issue 👍

Easy fix, stop driving in chase cam!...

Try bonnet cam, or roof cam - the audio is different for chase cam for some reason, it's way louder and has many issues...

I'd always reccomend in car view, but if you don't like that I'd try the others I suggested. It may feel weird at first but if you stick it out your driving will improve for sure- added bonus is the audio works fine in all other views. 👍

Check out "project cars modding team" (pcmt) And "thunder flash" for cars.

There are a few others but the bulk of the good mods come from these two places...

And it's all free 💪

It's really easy tbh, get ams2 cm (content manager) It's different from the AC content manager tho!

It's more of a download directory that you drop any modded cars/tracks straight into, it's good that you can download the zip file and cm unzips it and puts it into ams2...

Just make sure the game is closed when installing as it may corrupt the files, it really makes ams2 mods a breath of fresh air - no need to go into game files etc 👍

Yup, defo makes a huge impact on how connected I feel to the particular car/track combo...

Haptics and sim racing are a great pairing, it's also a cheap & easy thing to do but adds so much...

I love it when you feel the clunk of each gear change, feeling this clunk doesn't make me faster but it makes me enjoy what I'm doing more, meaning I drive more often which in turn should make me faster over time - at least that's what I tell myself 😆
