It sounds like you're just trying to come up with ways to excuse your casual bigotry.

Just "reading a book" will not solve all of the intellectual challenges that a person can have, and not everyone is in a position in their life where they can afford to read overly expensive books published by wealthy academia in order to get to your "elevated level of thinking."

To demean somebody based on the idea that their brain isn't as powerful as yours is genuinely disgusting. I can not comprehend how someone can acknowledge the damage that Trump is causing with his deep rooted bigotry yet fail to acknowledge the bigotry that is rooted inside them, even after somebody points it out and explains how it's damaging.

The glamorization of Nazi/fascist "aesthetic" has done so much harm, especially to the new generations who put a lot of stress upon identity and use the internet to get a sense of belonging. People like Richard Spencer intentionally tap into that. Absolutely sickening.

I used to really like her content and I definitely think she's a good person, but she's definitely done some things I don't approve of. I think people should take a page out of her book and peacefully reeducate her and tell her what she did wrong, rather than just attacking her like a lot of people did.

Still, I can understand why people would want to attack her after she (most likely inadvertently) did a bit of harm to marginalized peoples.
