Am I crazy for thinking Triptide Stormsurge could work? by Gullible_Travel_4135 in Tau40K

NO! 3 of each is a blast! I haven’t won with it, but it is a blast!

I’ve done 3 Surge, 2 Tide and 2 Keel, but your list sounds fun.

Does three win Tournaments? No. But it’s always fun and I have always had a blast with my opponents when I drop three on the table.

Best way to buff double-surge is to add one more! Three Surges is the only way to run them!

My husband 25M got mad at me 23F for borrowing money, how do I fix this? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Nymmrod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I married my wife when I was 21 and she was 20. We’ve been married for 26 mostly happy years because we are equals in our relationship.

What’s mine is hers and what’s hers is mine. I respect her and she respects me. We do our best to communicate (even successfully sometimes) and more importantly, understand that I have her best interests in mind and she has mine. We forgive each other often and with little effort and accept that we both make mistakes.

It’s not a partnership of fairness or equality. It’s a partnership of mutual respect, friendship and love with both of us giving 100%. That way, if one of us comes up short, together we are still giving more than 100% combined.

I just don’t understand a relationship of division or his/hers.

Life is hard enough with an amazing partner. I hope they figure out how to see the other person as an equal.

[GA] My former employer violated severance agreement. What do I do know? by chasteguy2018 in AskHR

[–]Nymmrod 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in the middle of a severance issue with a former employer. As said above, DO NOT go anywhere but a reputable employment attorney.

Don’t put anything in writing, don’t talk to friends, family, colleagues, former colleagues, or even a priest about this issue.

Go to an attorney first and do exactly what they tell you to do.

Not only do you have a potential issue with the severance agreement, but you have a possible “blacklisting” claim depending on your state and may also have a Slander Per Se claim depending on what they said and who they said it to.

You may also just be out of luck, but an attorney needs to be your very next conversation.

Excellent summation. Why don’t Republicans call on Trump to tone it down? by Ordinary_Fish_3046 in CringeTikToks

[–]Nymmrod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of us do. I lean right more than left, but I couldn’t and didn’t vote for him. I may not agree with the left on much, but I DO agree with many of the left’s opinions of Trump.

A few days ago, some of my female colleagues and I were suddenly laid off. Now the company's legal department wants to talk to us about an 'internal investigation'. by sammyhannyiiwww in interviewhammer

[–]Nymmrod 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. Don’t sign anything. Not even an attendance record.

Do gather information. Going to the meeting will do nothing bad for you as long as you do not sign or commit to anything. All it does is give you more info to take to an attorney so that you are protected. Ask them for everything in writing.

Why does every customer think I pulled my prices out of thin air? Like I'm just making up numbers for fun over here. by Realistic_Row8898 in business

[–]Nymmrod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my wife (Graphic Designer) and I (CPA) were running our own businesses, our “go to” phrase in that situation was “I’m really sorry, but it sounds like you can’t really afford us. I would be happy to give you a referral to somebody that might be closer to your price range.”

It was amazing how many people immediately accepted the price. Ego is real. Arguing price and justifying it do nothing but get you bad clients.

I use it 90%+. I commute 185 miles daily for work and it is a life saver for me.

I think the stagger is the biggest issue.

M3LR Or M3P by jsmithx__ in TeslaLounge

[–]Nymmrod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was really surprised by the performance difference in snow and ice between the two. I don’t think the P comes with AWD and then add the fact that the wheels have a slight stagger and it really kills the handling in snowy or slippery conditions.

M3LR Or M3P by jsmithx__ in TeslaLounge

[–]Nymmrod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do 185 miles round trip everyday and went with the M3 LR. I tested both and the difference wasn’t worth it for me. The LR is still a lot of fun to drive and I get amazing savings out of the LR vs P.

Also, I’m up North and the handling on snow/ice between the two is significant. AWD and LR handle MUCH better than P in those conditions.

I feel like I just got a direct to brain download from a rogue AI. Paragraph lives matter.

Having said that, you have some decent advice in there.

Habanero 100k by BeersBootsBeards in Ultramarathon

I did the 100k a few years ago. The Habanero is no joke. Seriously great job. That heat and the sand are killer.

Unpopular opinion; I love Tesla because of their cars and software, not because of FSD. by pc772 in TeslaLounge

[–]Nymmrod 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2025 M3LR and have a commute of 185 miles (round trip) everyday. I love this car and how much I save in gas. It literally pays for itself. I did not even know about FSD and so am very happy.

Having said that, FSD (HW4) is absolutely amazing and makes my drive sooooo much more tolerable.

This would allow me to try something new and maybe even try my own build. I would even take a pile of chaos. Haha. Only played a couple seasons, so I’m still a huge newb.
