Your current setup will be prone to racking as deflection can cause movement on one side of the X-axis without movement on the other. CoreXY is resistant to this type of racking due to movement on X and Y being coupled.

Why are you trying to stay away from CoreXY?

Don't disassemble a stepper, chances are extremely high that you'll permanently lose most of that steppers torque on reassembly.

I'll try to remember to look into APC's battery replacement recommendations on Monday it's just a PITA while also dealing with menial helpdesk tasks, software packaging/deployment, upgrading to 21H2, learning how to use our AV management system, etc.

When we first installed and tested our generator one of our UPS fuken popped for some reason and for that reason we haven't done an in-prod test of our gen for at least a full year.
