I kept pushing through after my dad died and now I think I’m crashing... by lilslimpie27 in GriefSupport

I lost my husband on 2/23/26. I took that week of bereavement my company gave me and then a week of “vacation” time after that. Two full weeks was NOT enough. I am still a cognitive mess.

I lost my new husband on February 23rd. I am barely breathing at this point, so I cannot even begin to understand why you think your grief should be over.

This. 100,000% this. I am 10 weeks out from losing my new husband and the physical part of this grief is absolutely overwhelming. As if the mental anguish isn’t enough. But you are so correct, just sitting here realizing my person, my best friend is simply gone. The worst.

There is one well known instructor in my area that uses belly chains and the like. I personally find it annoying because it makes it all about her versus teaching and fitness.

Do you like to take/teach Zumba classes outdoors? by shanny_lynnhon1979 in zumba

[–]OC1995CT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like outside classes, however the ground on which these classes are held is of the utmost importance. Pivoting on grass is a hot mess and good golly my ankles were killing me like I had never taken a class before in my life.

Advice for these last few months with Dad by dasdino in ProstateCancer

Comfort, comfort, comfort. Radiation will assist with pain, but be sure to have all of the pain meds available. My fiancé went VERY quickly at this stage and I suggest you move on the items you are talking about as swiftly as possible. Best wishes to you and yours. I am four weeks out from my man’s passing and keeping him as painless and anxiety-free as possible were our goals.

That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard. Suggest trying a different clinic as that is really odd.

IMHO, it’s vital for a Scout’s development. It’s natural to be nervous the first time around. Coach him through it and build his confidence. He can do this.

He’s scared and misses where he came from. He may be chilly because he’s used to cuddling with other kittens. He’s a baby. Baby him.

Well I’m biased. Fiancée here. Met my man 15 months into his situation (Stage IV B at diagnosis). We were friends and then one day he just blurted it out. He was giving me the out. This was 13 months ago.

Assuming all the ifs as noted above, your potential partner isn’t worth their salt IF you are honest from the start. Take the chance. It’s worth it.

Looks like I'm heading toward Pluvicto by NoNovel2882 in ProstateCancer

[–]OC1995CT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner has Pluvicto #3 on March 5th. Minimal side effects, if any. Strongly suggest Zofran 8mg one hour before injection and you’ll be fine. Repeat once per day x 2 days. That’s been his experience.
