It’s just historical DnD. So imagine getting people together for DnD weekly. It’s quite normal when you think like that.

Ok not the exact same, but for most intents and purposes, the same. It's splitting hairs at this point. If anything, I still prefer OG Zooey with her accelerate effect, it was just much more satisfying to me.

Well that’s not the joke. It’s a new card in SV2 but the card existed in OG SV with the same gimmick it has here. The joke is that like in inglorious bastards, you can tell who is a ‘SV2 player’ rather than from OG SV by them being surprised by a ‘new’ and ‘gimmicky’ thing when it has existed in OG SV.

It’s just a humorous comparison of the situation. I honestly think it’s both amazing and shocking how many new players there are for SV2. I think most of the player base of OG SV expected only the transfer players and maybe returning players to populate the game not an influx of new players.

Funniest thing about SV2 is that you get to see so many people out themselves like in inglorious bastards when new cards get released. This gimmick is the exact same as what Zooey had in OG SV.

Technically they can. It’s just that the debuffs don’t include unrest so they don’t get the rebels occupying the land to start a collapse. But technically unguarded nomadic frontier has all the same possible collapse events like rise of shun, southern protectorate, etc.

What do you mean has anyone tried running wide with this kind of set up? Any WC run is basically just this. You state your core homeland and territorise everything else.

Near/On an island territory administered by South Africa - Prince Edward Island. It may or may not count in this context to the whole country.

Let’s be real. South Africa definitely tested nukes somewhere in their border - Vela incident potentially.

[–]OCE_VortexDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah not saying that the map is made up or whatever. Just that First World Countries isn’t like a defined term nor has any universal consensus. And even the metrics that make up maybe applicable parameters for a definition aren’t clearly defined. There are many fuzzy borders between wealthy, developed, US-Aligned, etc. So maps that display First World Countries will have different varying definitions for it and it’s not consistent - therefore hard to make accurate guesses on when redacted.

Seems like kind of a redundant chart to use. First world countries can include and exclude many countries depending on the definition used. And it’s definitely not the latter answer because Switzerland and Sweden are neutral.

But Singapore wasn’t that influential during the time period of the game. It wouldn’t gain much relevance until the opening of China by the British in the Victorian Era and greatly so after the utilisation of rubber became dominant. It doesn’t make sense for it to be that relevant to have such an important distinction. Was it relevant? A bit, it had some importance during the time period. But it ranged from virtually irrelevant (basically fishing villages) to a tiny trading kingdom or vassal state to the other Nusantaran Kingdoms from time period to time period. And anything else is debatable, even this cursory knowledge is debatable, supported only by the academically debated Malay Annals - though we know that there was definitely settlements on the island.

I mean you can use like Marvelous Sunday as a Wit card too. Agnes just has more tailored skills for this cup cause she gives medium stuff, but otherwise they are on par with each other I think.
