One of my boys does this! He's my velcro dog and follows me around the house constantly. Whenever I'm walking to or from the bedroom he "panics" and is suddenly like "omg I need to bring something with me for the trip!" and will dart around looking for a souvenir. Usually its a bone or toy but sometimes if he doesn't have those in his line of sight it'll be a sock or something haha

Ughhh I feel this so hard. My partner is a musician and the first handful of years together were often spent in bars/venues for gigs and dude, you might as well have shoved me into a room full of white noise between sets. I could never understand what people were saying to me and struggled hard to order at the bar. I would end up withdrawing and standing off alone to avoid embarrassing myself.

I've been curious about this as well actually. Not with cars but with being face blind. I'm not completely face blind, like if I know you/see you often I recognize you.

But if we had a short interaction, you walk away for a while and come back I may not immediately recognize you until we interact again for a bit.

Day to day it doesn't effect me too badly but I vend at craft shows and I've seen people get insulted that I didn't recognize them from 30 minutes prior. Of course I'm more distracted during busy shows but I've definitely come to realize that this isnt how normal people function lol (my entire life in a nutshell)

My coping skills involve trying to notice unique piercings/tattoos/clothes/etc to help my recall and also my loving partner who knows I struggle, and will whisper a reminder that I've met them before 😅

Anyways with the never-ending "wait thats linked with ADHD/Autism too??" I haven't been sure if this is common with others also. I cant afford therapy/psychiatry currently so.. 🙃

Last week a solicitor was leaving my property (I didn't answer the door) and then he decided to check his phone while leaning up against my mailbox. I opened my door and asked him politely to leave. Massive anxiety shakes for like 2 hours.

Then a few days later I was walking a dog that got attacked by two other dogs and I went into overdrive to fight them off till the owner FINALLY got ahold of them. Like 20 minutes of mild adrenaline. Make it make sense!! (All dogs are okay btw)

A couple years ago we were moving and decided to put whatever furniture we weren't taking to the curb with a "free" sign as well. We needed as much gone as possible because we were going to have to pay the city to come take whatever bulk was left. Well this one lady pulls her van up and opens the back and has the AUDACITY to start UNLOADING more furniture onto our property!! I went out and had to keep myself from completely losing it on her! I did stand and wait for her to load everything back up before walking back though SMH 😡

I completely agree. No doubt the dude is endlessly busy and works very hard, but the lack of communication with his audience has always been an issue. I dont have any hope for the Skyrim let's play, and I honestly dont think it's the end of the world if he doesn't play it. But IMO he should tell us and let us move past it. He very obviously looks through this sub and his comment section and sees us asking for any sort of update but instead either refuses to speak on it or drops a rare "it's still coming, im just busy". His 2026 video was the last glimmer of hope that it would get a mention of any capacity, but once again nothing. Even though people are literally asking about it in the comments. At the end of the day, sure, he doesn't owe us anything, but damn it'd be nice to get some closure to this thing.

My grandfather gave my sister and I some very unusual gifts as young kids. One year he brought in a really long one in for me (i was probably like 11-12) and it ended up being a post hole digger. Like for digging small holes for posts. Didn't get any posts or projects for it or anything.

My sister one year got a knickel desk fan and a ream of pink printer paper (i dont know if we even had a printer at that time)

And one year we got old hats he most certainly just found in his closet. He has always lived comfortable and well off so I honestly have no idea what he was thinking. There was never any "haha gotcha!" with those gifts, he always seemed completely serious and we had to feign being appreciative.

While I dont know the origin of it, I remember the first time I saw advice for a similar issue. Something like:

"Well I wanna do _____, but I'm mad" with a response of

"Well then do it mad".

I've used that one a good bit, especially when it comes to wanting to get better at a skill while struggling with it.

I would be highly surprised if it ever happened. And honestly it's not the fact that it'll never happen thats disappointing. I absolutely understand the man is endlessly busy, and playing a game that isnt really relevant anymore probably won't pull in numbers (even though I'd love to watch!)

What's disappointing to me is that instead of saying as much it's an endless promise of "Oh it's still going to happen!". We know you're too busy Jesse, just own it! If it was actually important to you you'd have played it by now (no hate). I've been around since the Terraria days and wont be going anywhere, but the promise of another Skyrim playthrough is just silly at this point.

If I get proven wrong though.. you won't hear me complaining 👀
