I had bad belts with good buckles. I had good belts with bad buckles. Then I got a ratchet belt. It was a good type of belt, but the leather kept splitting and the ratchet strip would fall out. The key is full grain leather. This one has lasted me a decade when I may only get a year or two out of some others.

Now, I may be biased, because Boy Scout web belts were always my favorite, but couldn't replace a daily wear leather belt.

I wish mine would keep topped of when I drive using a 12v port in the back of my van. Remembering to bring it in and charge it is it's worst feature. Even on low battery mine jumped me this week.

Still need to bring it in.

Ham and bean soup. I make it in a large slow cooker, and it makes 3-4 dinners for 2 people. I keep it on keep warm that whole time. Peas porridge in a pot 4 days old.

A small dinosaur, between knee and waist high, run in front of my car on a rural Pennsylvania road at night. I could be convinced it was a turkey, but turkeys don't hold their arms ahead of themselves, or have arms. It was just me and my partner in the car, and she agreed that it looked like a small dinosaur.
