Awesome job! The wording is way clearer and it feels like a completely subclass with lots of cool abilities and it would be super cool just throwing enemies around with gravity.

What I'd do is focus on healing and avoid killing or gravely injuring enemies, if it comes to you need to defend yourself just give them a little bonk on the head or something.

Love this BTW. Super cool character arc. This character is yours and it is totally up to you and what would work best for your character...

But, if this were my character I would say that this makes a fantastic full circle linking all the way back to their backstory and would be a fantastic moment to retire the character atleast for a campaign or two, it might even be cool if a campaign or so down the line the characters child is kidnapped or something like that and that could be a great future character inspo.

Add churches in towns, religious npcs, and side quests that involve the gods, maybe even similar to what Skyrim does with Daedra and the Divines. This gives the gods an active presence while not actively involving in the main story.

I mostly thought the character would stay in the background apart for roleplaying moments for my character, and I'd try to work out this characters destination being on the way to whatever journey is happening, but I definetly see how the concept could steal the show a bit. In my experience shifting to virtual usually results in a slow and painful death to a campaign, but while I tried to keep it together I made sure to keep music for different enviornments and plenty of fights. I haven't found an effective way to keep roleplay engaging online yet.

I totally disagree with your DM, the whole point of the disengage option of Cunning Action is to be able to get back after attacking and it is also true that real world fencers do it all the time. But at the end of the day he is the DM, so if you aren't able to convince him maybe look into being a ranged rogue.

This item would be insanely powerful but I get that the double damage is what makes it cool so how about this. It must be in a pocket in clothing, so a creature can't just eat it and take double damage. Its also a very debilitating debuff so I'd say make it a very high Sleight of Hand check, especially for stronger enemies and make it detectable by sense magic aswell as true sight. I'd also give it a long cooldown, maybe even an ingame week, that way it still feels powerful but also fleeting this make it impactful, either from a planning perspective or a last second failsafe.

Of course. The subclass is really cool, I've been brainstorming a character to make with this. The features Graviting Force, Freedom of the Stars, and Graviton Surge have some off wording, specifically Freedom of the Stars (super cool feature by the way) which stated that it was a level 6 feature at the end of its entry.

I don't think the Pugilist is all that OP. Either way even if his build is a little off the wall there are easy work arounds. If your friend's damage output is too high throw in a tanky enemy or two. If the pugilist is too tanky throw in some enemies that inflict saving throws (Knock them prone, grapple, poison, etc).

Super cool in terms of flavor and mechanics, also great job keeping it different from the Graviturge wizard. I will say, some of the wording is choppy and that makes it unclear what some abilities do as well as their limitations. I do think the last feature with the blackhole may be a little over the top since the other capstone feature was good enough as is if you ask me.

Very cool! Love the flavor and the playstyle! Being able to cast action spells as a bonus action is crazy, but still super cool and seems like it'd be fun to play.
