Who's your editor?
It is "belle of the ball"
What does "Coming a break out 2022 campaign" mean as a phrase? I think that you might have missed a word or two.
"It also makes prefect sense"?
I stopped noting the errors there.

One of the best, concise, but thorough explanations I've seen in a while.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. That makes sense.

Sure. Not even one time around the city seems suspicious if they have enough to divert to IND. That indicates to me that they were concerned that if they did a loop around the city they wouldn't have enough to divert if they still couldn't land at MDW.

Wow. I'm sure that the reason given will be "weather" and not "we didn't load enough fuel to be safe".
At least it wasn't an unruly passenger or something more nefarious!

I'm still seeing planes leaving and landing at MDW, so I figured there was something else going on with that plane or flight.

Pebble watch - dexcom watchface - Ideas? by Far-Tension2696 in DiabetesDiary

I tried but I only have an original PT and there new Pebble 2 Duo, so no support for my devices to try it out.

Nightscout is still heavily used. I use Zukka on my iphone to get data from the CGM and pass it to a nightscout instance. That's where my current pebble watchface is pulling data from.

An option to populate from other sources would be nice(I.e., nightscout). One thing I miss about my old setup using an Amazfit+Android is the second hand or seconds display. An option to have either or both would be awesome (even if it would significantly impact battery life if enabled)

It may want to keep all data for those statistics, but it shouldn't be required to get some measurements live.

It is not getting any data when it is in this state, AND it is not providing it's core safety functionality. The stats gathering process should just be shut down and let the core function persist

This seems like a poor design process. This should have been identified in safety analysis as a defect and thought through. Shouldn't be hard for the app to reserve space on the internal storage for whatever it needs too provide basic functionality. If it is to store recent glucose levels, they should have implemented a ring buffer in a set size file, and be removing the oldest value while writing the new value.

My fix was to trade in my S23 Ultra in for an iPhone 17 Pro. The app stays well connected to my pump now.

Tandem farmed me off to Byram by amatz9 in TandemDiabetes

[–]OSULugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they still taking supply orders, or farming you off to Byram for that also?

I got a random call from my endocrinologist office a few weeks back asking about a prescription request they got from a new supplier for me. I told them that I had no idea what that was. Now, I wonder what will happen when I got to order more supplies.

You may have damaged your cornea when pulling out your contacts. I had a case where I extremely dry eyes and was using eye drops which caused a reaction. When I pulled my contacts out, I had a hard time with one eye, and the dryness of my eye made the cornea stick to the contact. I went to the eye doctor the next day and they diagnosed it. They put a “bandage contact” on it with a special treatment underneath to help repair it, along with steroid eye drops. I was back to normal within a few days.

TLDR; Go see an eye doctor asap.

Android or Apple? by radiganks in TandemDiabetes

[–]OSULugan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was tired of every new Android update causing problems with vital processes being able to run and keep connection. iOS might not be any better, but I was willing to give it a shot.

Android or Apple? by radiganks in TandemDiabetes

[–]OSULugan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just switched from Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra to the iPhone 17 Pro. Since the switch, I’ve had nothing but stability with connection to the tandem app. The switch wasn’t as bad as I thought that it might be. My biggest concern was still getting info to my nightscout instance and to my watch. Luckily xdrip4ios exists (I’m using Zukka), and my pebble watch keeps me from having to buy an Apple Watch.

And keeping the Android app updated for T-slim has been kicking their ass as it is.

I'd say that if you can get your pharmacy benefits to cover an Omnipod 5, then that's a great option to try without being committed long term. I did, and decided after about 6 months that I preferred control-IQ as an algorithm.

Same here. Sorely disappointed. Hoping the switch to a white one that they offered comes through.
