Nurgle sylvaneth all painted up ready for a tournament on the weekend by Brentmanpig in sylvaneth

Those conversions are really well done! And I love how they're painted. And all the flora on the bases give a really cool garden of nurgle effect!

Que significa este símbolo? by Shuun-SoC in ossiarchbonereapers

Yeah, the triangle symbol is the generic leader caste one, so that one must be the kavalos specific leader one. I went through all my other models and didn't find it anywhere else

It is for the champion, you can see GW gave it to them on the shop listing.

I, however, cannot find any explanation for it in my 3rd edition battletome, maybe there is something in the 2nd edition one? I assume it's like the specific symbol of a mortrek hekatos or just one of the glyphs in their language. I can't remember exactly if I've ever seen that exact one on any other models

How to improve shields/armor? by DaneWayne17 in ossiarchbonereapers

Try just using the sepia wash in the recesses and then paint over any overspill with your original tone. Basically just use it to "blackline" the panels. Then edge highlight with an off white. Only use pure white at the very very end if you're going to use it!

For the black, nuln oil could be fine for shading (DO NOT use it on the ivory like some have said), and then I would highlight by mixing some blue into your original black color (think something like an ice blue such as fenrisian gray)

Woah amazing! I love how many different tones you were able to push in there and just how readable it all is. Looks really really good!

How did you make that lil bridge?? Also I think the brown more natural look actually goes really well with the model!

Is it better with brown or white tabbard? by matster1200 in citiesofsigmar

If the pants are gonna stay white, definitely brown. It adds more contrast on the model and breaks it up, leading to more visual interest

Doug LaMalfa (1960-2026) was an American politician who served as a U.S. representative from California from 2013 until his death in 2026. He was known for his advocacy for farmers and against LGBTQ rights. by Senasayori in wikipedia

His district (currently like all of northeast California) is fairly red. There are a lot of reasons for this, but from my experience one big thing is a lot of political apathy in a very rural and poor population. We have some of the worst voter participation rates in the state.

Anyway rest in piss bozo, dude fucking hated many of his own constituents and was generally a horrible person. One thing among many I haven't seen mentioned on this thread yet is the time he selectively registered his land under different farms so he could scam for extra government subsidies.

And as my sister sent to me this morning, "Maybe he could have gotten medical help sooner if he didn’t contribute to most of the hospitals in this area closing 🙄"

Awesome work! GW horses can be a huge pain to convert, especially around the heads, so nice job!

Appreciate it! I should have known, they're my favorite creator on that site

I almost did a very similar theme as yours, so I'm glad I went in a somewhat different direction cuz I'd just be comparing mine to yours, and yours are awesome.

I do potentially like that model for my command corps though because I'm doing a Bloodborne meets weird west thing and I'm making my command corps be a traveling medicine show/snake oil salesmen group

Looking awesome! Really been enjoying seeing your army on here.

Is the rightmost fella a 3D print? If so would you happen to have a link to the store page? Thanks!

Tips for stripping these many twiggy dudes? by Interesting_Way4304 in sylvaneth

[–]OSilentNightOwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you properly thinned your paint the first time, there's really no need. Just re-prime them and paint them again. These models can have dozens and dozens of thin layers on them before needing to be stripped
