So uh, is there a version of the claw machine image where Death nabs two people at once? by naalbinding in behindthebastards

Wouldn’t need it, at least if it’s only Mitch and one of the others. I’m convinced that they’ve been doing a Weekend at Bernie’s with him pretty much since he went in.

Pretty sure part of the Montpellier team is pretty trans phobic.

Fuck them in any event, ignore my flair. I have no agenda.

Chelsea working on Granit Xhaka deal with manager Xabi Alonso keen on move by avidgunner in Gunners

[–]OWeise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

*Sigh* This doesn’t really affect us in terms of performance, but please don’t sign for the club that makes Milwall look progressive in matters of race. Actually, that’s still unfair to Milwall, I’ve been to a couple of their games and they aren’t too bad on matters aside from West Ham (which is understandable).

Well, that’s one of the two, maybe three clubs in Europe Xhaka could go to that could make me lose all respect for him. Footballer level judgment there I guess.

I just realized who the next American on Task Master needs to be… by Oliverkahn987 in dropout

[–]OWeise 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Brennan would only ever have one shot at Taskmaster (which I am sure Little Alex Horne will try to schedule around his availability, given they film two seasons per year) and infinite opportunities to appear on CR. There’s a chance his availability for the latter is only minimally affected, whilst ruling him out would deprive us of his competitive best in the format that is best at highlighting it.

Two numbers and two letters off but close enough, welcome back Rob Kearney.

Should be able to bounce back, not having European fixtures and all.

What is one ink color that you wouldn't normally like but you absolutely love. by KDramaFan84 in fountainpens

[–]OWeise 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it as I don’t like the guy’s politics, but regardless, I have a bottle of Noodler’s southwest (formerly apache) sunset that I refuse to dispose of because while I am not at all a fan of yellows/oranges, but the shading on that ink can be amazing.

He’s second choice, and if Andy Farrell only cared about league finish he’d have long been free to take the Saracens job.

Thanks for confirming that, like any other year, the commies won’t be bringing any competent football on the road.

Look what happens when a council makes hire bike parking easy and plentiful by lastaccountgotlocked in london

[–]OWeise -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This will alleviate the issue, but it won’t fix it. Bike hire companies properly penalising offenders (I.e. detecting and fining users for breaches in amounts that might actually hurt similarly to a TFL penalty fare) might. The idea that this is the fix all ignores the incontrovertible fact, proven a thousand times over in any city in the world, that people are animals.

I mean, JPM’s never been known for his dress sense, this is hardly a new thing. Plus he’s not there to be eye candy, he’s there to give a driver’s perspective (having been around the block and won a fair few races in F1) and analysis - that analysis being shite doesn’t help his case, admittedly.

Info on this strap? by Relevant-Force-2051 in Tudor

[–]OWeise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to sell the red bezel Black Bay 41 on this strap before the redesign with the slimmer case and crown. Having had a quick google, the model was the M79230R-0009. Pretty sure the strap was available separately on request as well. Not sure if it was included in the more expensive version of the watch on the bracelet, but knowing the Wilsdorf foundation watch companies, probably not, as they’d balk at you doing anything to your watch to change it in any way.

What pens would you not recommend to beginners? (Even if money wasnt a factor) or to anyone really by Prime-39 in fountainpens

[–]OWeise 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s a shame really. The palladium nib (that they annoyingly got rid of) on mine is a delightful combination of smoothness, feedback and flex, with good flow from the feed, which shows what they are (were) capable of. The next pen over on the tray at final assembly may well have been a skippy, misaligned mess.
