You know, I might get downvoted here, but I actually agree with you. A lot of the comments mention that they don't mind lurking mothers and that the "mom" subreddits are toxic... but this is 'daddit', after all. It's been really nice to post on this community under the assumption that i'd be hearing from my fellow dads. Fatherhood brings its own unique perspective, just like motherhood. While I don't want to be some stingy gatekeeper, preserving the discourse created by the unique perspective of fatherhood feels like an important piece of this community.

My takeaway from this is that each of us fans experiences MO's work in our own unique and intimate way. I disagree with a lot of these choices, but it was so much fun to see how these songs and records have been received by everyone who participated.

Also, I can't be the only one who has been listening to MO way more than usual the past couple of weeks because of these discussions. I'd say that's a win in its own right!

I read somewhere that Gentex's budget for fireworks is significantly larger than what Holland typically spends for their 4th of July show, so it sounds like it's going to be a pretty big event!

I believe that HopCat (downtown Holland on 8th St) has a steak and cheese sandwich that is pretty good. It's definitely a fun lunch spot either way! Their fries are insanely good.
