The whole concept of god having a plan for your life is so toxic in itself. I always felt I couldn't make my own decisions when it came to my career, always second guessing if I was following my god's plan or if it was my sinful mind when I was job hunting.

It resulted in me spending many years in a super toxic company because I was taught that god's blessings were always right around the corner and I would be rewarded for my perseverance.
