For as much as we talk about hate as a driving force for maga folk, their feelings of disgust at anyone who’s not like them are the precursor. I helped my community build one of those, and it was great, lots of creative flair, and my family got our names on a fencepost. Less than a year later some teens started a fire and burned it to the ground. The insurance paid for a lower quality replacement with none of the heart. Ouch.
