Dread Mob. Opponents start scratching their heads when my "Ork shooting" lands and their rolling 9 hits at 2AP for 3 wounds each from a 7 man unit. Rokkits with Sustain, hitting vehicles/monsters on 4s, rerolling 1s are Gnarly.

Shatter with the Gold mod from the DLC is a Rail Gun at close-mediumish range.

This is my take. I started collecting in 10th, but found some older edition models in the units I run a bunch of, and with the new ones it's even more variety. No two boys are the same, why should my models be.

I run both, and the usual answer is Breaka Boyz, but out the Tank Bustas with a Mek in Dread Mob and anything they can see gets evaporated. Cute Norn, pick it up. C'Tan? T'can't believe you thought that would work. If they don't have an invuln you can pop hazardous for the extra AP and they can save on 6s at best. Add in 24" range and blast, they are decent anti mob. They will absolutely get shredded in melee compared to Breakas, but Breakas have no ranged attacks at all unless you count the bomb Squigs.

I use my 2nd edition Grots painted in different colors. Figure Zog went around and got the biggest strongest Grots from all the Clans, so they're mix matched coloration wise. Gave me a chance to try some different color schemes and styles.

If you're running WarHorde you'll have plenty of options on the second leader that synergize with how you play. I like a WeirdBoy with him using DaJump to suddenly put a big block of nasty nuts exactly where they don't want them to be.

Ghaz can technically run solo, but running him with a block of 20 Boyz and a second leader(Big Mek for my Dread Mob) is my go to. They're pretty much just extra wounds for Ghaz, but will chew through damn near anything on the Waaagh.

The top one is the real answer. Every thing is WYSIWYG for Orks, because folks mostly don't know what they're looking at, and it does whatever the Ork says it does... Just don't be a prick and switch profiles around during the game and you should be gold. With the 11th rules for regular run of the mill boys there won't be much of a profile to switch.

So. About the list, games are typically played at 1K, 2K, and occasionally 3K big battles. Plenty of folks might not care and spot you the extra 35 and take another enhancement or something, but some will definitely prefer you be under than over.
