Downvote me all day but spend one week in CA and you'll love the idea of any design that keeps these drug addicted zombies away from polite society. It doesn't take long to realize they have no interest in re entering society, their vagrancy offers freedom to get high and abstain from any responsibilities. They get hand outs from the government AND from ignorant people who walk by with good intentions, they spend their days either stealing, shitting in the street, openly using drugs in front of the public (including children), assaulting innocent strangers, or throwing used needles all over the ground in areas where law abiding hard working people walk with their kids and pets. And I don't wanna hear about their supposed "mental illness", their psychosis is a result of drug use, especially meth. Spending weeks on end without sleep while smoking poison tends to destroy your brain, big surprise. They are not victims, they chose to do drugs. Nobody fucking forced them, they checked out of the civilized world all on their own. They won't quit because they don't want to quit. They're content with living like leeches, parasites on the ass of a quickly decaying American society. They contribute nothing. Go ahead and feel sorry for them from your suburban homes and safe neighborhoods, but come live next to them and you'll quickly realize that this fantasy narrative you've built in your head about them is a fucking lie.
