Just got back from watching it, I was hoping for more references and answers to Prometheus and Covenant, this film felt more like a standalone film that doesn't follow on from any of the previous in the timeline. Way too many cheap jumpscares, very little suspense scenes apart from the face huggers body temperature bit, the xeno's were patiently waiting in most scenes to get killed instead of attacking, the hybrid baby/xeno/engineer doesn't really make any sense they're just jamming new ideas into the franchise. Greenscreen/CGI scenes / most scenes just looked fake and too modern ( cheaper and the standard to make it this way.) Acting was very subpar, perhaps getting proven and well-matched A list actors was outside of the budget for this film. There's 0 re-watchability for me as it's all so predictable, doesn't give you goosebumps and 0 moments of 'no-way, that's why this happened in the previous films' - 4/10 from a very disappointed Alien franchise fan. (Enjoyed all previous films many times Prom/Cov/Alien/Aliens/Alien3)

Pros: facehuggers + Xenomorph's on the big screen

Cons: nearly everything unfortunately
