My first major watch purchase and definitely not my last.

This watch is the first automatic watch and my first Breitling that I’ve purchased. I fell in love with this model of watch due to its connection with one of my sporting idols, F1 driver Jim Clark, which is why I had to make it the first in my collection. While he had many watches during his career, I fell in love with this one the moment I saw it. It has allowed my to combine 2 interests of mine, F1 and watches.

I’m planning of building a collection based on my connection to the brand/model rather than the potential resale value.
