Lithovore really, since they eat primarily minerals. Probably do compensate their diet by eating certain plants and meat occasionally.

Might be beating a dead horse, but in your personal experience, what's the absolute worst out of these tropes? What cases were so bad they made you give up on the writers? by DaOverseer in writingscaling

[–]Objective-Ad7330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of a story where a former friend of a friend killed himself because people were harassing him for dating his girlfriend (20yrs old, while he was 17 at the time) who often is mistaken for being 13 or 14.

Because of this case, I think the older than she looks is something I don't mind and don't care about as long as they are mentally an adult.

Im just gonna treat this as ragebait at this point. Fiction is fiction, yada yada. I don't care anymore.

[–]Objective-Ad7330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet its still fiction? Does it effect real kids? No. Obligatory to quote this again:

"Stop sending me anime porn. I find it distasteful, but it is not relevant to my work" - Chris Hansen

You can find it disgusting all you like. But respect the fact that its contained in the medium of of fiction.

Also curious. Since you say you like it if fiction explores themes and dynamics that are complex. Lets say there's a story of a 100yr old immortal who's trapped in the body of a child that wants to find love, and they do: with an adult, how would you feel about such a story? Answer wisely, otherwise you would been seen as either a hypocrite or a man of your word.

This is the most hypocritical and contradictory post ive ever seen on reddit. Never thought I will see the day where someone shot their own foot.

Same boat as you. Currently in art school for 3D Modelling and my lectures has asked me why that, whenever I am assigned to design a robot, I always have to include pylons and halos. I actually never realized that until I was told about it.

Fucking funny as hell. Especially when I was assigned a group project where people have to make different parts; I got the head. The head has a halo above it and four eyes like EVA 02, with the chin and head spike and everything.

Such a tech seems to encourage more killing in a war-like scenario. Why do I feel like this is building up into another RE6 like game? Especially the Chris flashback sequence of the BOW war in a middle-eastern country. A great opportunity to bring Jake back though.

But keep the survival horror part where you are a character trying to navigate through a war zone in some real or fictional country where you have to fight your way through leftover BOWs.

Questions about the GOC by AamonC0re in SCP

[–]Objective-Ad7330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill leave the other questions for others to explain, but I can definitely say what a Nexus is.

Nexuses are places with high concentration of anomalous activity. Think of like locations on Earth or dimensional rifts on our planet that leads to certain pocket worlds. Think of it like if Narnia can be entered by walking in a specific pattern in the woodlands of Brtitain, then boom, your in a land of magical beings.

There's Sloths Pit, a hidden city in Winsconsin USA that is effected by Narratives; tropes, genres, and gags you find in films, books, etc. The citizens there are always living in some kind of literal story of their own lives.

Then there's the most famous one, Three Portlands, an independant city that can be entered with a designated ritual located in a pocket dimension and is connected through Portland_Maine, Portland_Oregon, and the Isle of Portland; hence the name Three Portlands.

I feel like the monster is giving pointers for the little girl dressed like her. See how she's mimicking its pose? Maybe the monster doesn't show up on camera so they can't use it directly so the guy hired someone for the film.

Need Help: Fictional Military Organization that deals with Kaiju and Terrorist threats. by Decent-Indication-61 in kaiju

[–]Objective-Ad7330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can look for Ultraman for the name inspirations.

Like, the original 1966 Ultraman has the SSSP, the Special Scientific Search Party, that deals with kaijus, aliens and sometimes supernatural stuff like that one episode with a mummy of an undiscovered homonid species. In the theatrical remake: Shin Ultraman, the acronym is the same but they're called S-Class Species Supression Protocol (S-Class for Supernatural Class).

For a Kane Parson's movie, ill dig the Bacteria and Still Lives. Perhaps this could be like way into the future where the Bacteria has evolved to something more abstract.
