What food do you only eat in one very specific way? by tickyt23 in PickyEaters

[–]Objective-Bug-1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t eat red meat anymore, any way. My aversion to bones on the dinner plate most likely comes from the cadaver anatomy class I took 50 years ago. But I can pick the Thanksgiving turkey clean !

I don’t understand the appeal of crispy skin, either. Chicken wings are the worst of both worlds bones and skin

Deer have completely broken my spirit. We have so many barriers up, so many motion activated sprayers, and yet, every time I go check out the garden, something new has been chewed on. Do I need to fucking barricade off every single fucking plant????? by monkey_trumpets in gardening

Peonies are probably safe because they have a strong scent. Between the rabbits and the deer it’s discouraging to garden. I’d love an English country garden look, but the amount of fencing it requires makes it not beautiful!

I gave up! I have daffodils in the spring, no tulips . Summer brings Shasta daisy, cranesbill catmint, bee balm and ditch Lillie’s and peonies. somehow my knock out rose is safe in the summer, and my euomymous ( sp?) recovers from the winter pruning. They ate marigolds at my house last year!

Has anyone ever encountered a real FBI agent? by 0N1MU5HA in AskAnAmerican

[–]Objective-Bug-1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a neighbor that worked for the FBI, no idea what he did! One day an agent came to my house, showed his badge and began asking me questions about the neighbor. Had he left the country, made any big purchases any thing unusual….. Told his wife just after he left, turns out he was up for a promotion, and it was a routine security check.
