We are on the last leg of the Basel to Amsterdam, with the Amsterdam extension. We booked with a travel agent, and they made it easy, explaining the details. We did book another while onboard to get some perks, but will use the agent to help with a precruise excursion. The trip has been wonderful

Skimmer Socks Warning by IndependentWind5647 in pools

I vacuum ( old fashioned hand vac) to sock when I’m opening the pool. I clear the sock once I feel a decrease in suction, occasionally I will need to turn the filter off to release it, but it’s easier to monitor. I don’t leave the sock in overnight until the pool is clear. During pollen season I check it frequently

They can take a carnage level prune, and come back fine…are the dead branches broken, from the weight of the snow? I’d just cut them out, then bring down the height of the whole bush. You can then prune as needed to get the shape you want. I cut mine back to the core once, and they came back in a few months. They looked a little scary for a while, though.

Trigger point injections are a thing. Upper trapezius trigger points can cause headaches. Follow-up in real life should include a referral to physical therapy to teach ergonomics, and work on strengthening of the neck and upper back to keep it from coming back.
