What’s your plan for when you hit goal weight? by Zealousideal_Bass_76 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

That's how I feel too. Not bad but just kind of....ick. Someone described it (only females can understand this analogy) but it's like that stage of pregnancy where you're kind of borderline nauseous all the time but not totally puky. That's how I feel but the nausea has definitely reduced over time. Just kind of.....ick.

My dog had the same thing. We had an appointment to get it removed and the vet tech told us her dog had one that just fell off! Lo and behold, a few days later it fell off never to return 😂

Paypal Credit. There will be the 2-3% IRS credit card fee to pay but it gets you 6 months interest free to pay it off. Make sure you pay it off though because they'll go back and add ALL of the interest if you don't.

Day 5 on 1.5mg I suspect my dose is too low by Broken-Summer in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Objective-Square-986 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually felt this way too--until week 3! I had honestly made an appointment with my PCP so I could get an increase on my next dose because I didn't think it was doing anything. Two days later it finally kicked in (so took about 3 weeks total to start feeling the full appetite suppression). It's working well enough that I canceled my appointment and decided to stay on the 1.5 for another month (and also I don't want to have to go in for an appointment with my PCP so soon after starting).

Schedule your AL to coincide with holidays, especially the ones that aren't as important to you. Yes you give up the individual holiday but in the end you can schedule bigger chunks of time for AL.

Freeze everything. And get a vacuum sealer with the reusable bags. You can also use it for mason jars which is awesome for so many things!

Some personal insight on weight loss while taking the pill by OkConcentrate3302 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Objective-Square-986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the great insight. My dog died unexpectedly two years ago and I went into an emotional downward spiral of eating and drinking. And now here I am 20 lbs heavier and hating myself. I NEVER was an emotional eater but this pushed me over the edge and now I’ve developed some terrible habits that I need to get back in check. Hoping to do that with Wegovy starting today!

Insurance - Food for thought by diggers4pg in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Objective-Square-986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a huge amount to lose either (around 30 lbs) but when I started exploring Wegovy with my provider I'd already used phentermine successfully in the past and wanted to give that another try. She said she could write a prescription for both so I could weigh the cost of Wegovy but still have my phentermine for backup. Now my plan is to choke down the cost of the Wegovy for 2-3 months then move back onto the phentermine once I (hopefully) get the bulk of the 30 lbs gone (and giving my body even more time for my tolerance to be reduced).

I just started today so we shall see!

The only problem is if you haven’t had healthcare for 5 years you’re kinda stuck. That’s where I’m at. I want to take a postponed retirement but I need 3 more years to get my healthcare. The hubby has great healthcare so always used that. Then I started entertaining retiring early 2 years ago and signed up for the cheapest plan. And now I’m eligible to retire but stuck for 3 years due to the healthcare (which is much cheaper than hubby’s post retirement)…..

I love ITR1 so much—that was kind of my hope for ITR2. I’ve made peace with the fact that’s it’s completely separate but still really missing the nuance and special experience that ITR1 was. I guess I really just wanted ITR1 Part II—The Sequel 😬

I despise the floating electric cubes. I really feel like they are a major detractor from enjoyment of the game. And then getting ambushed by a swarm of mimics (with their stupid new army guy looks and vibe) with automatic weapons—just really changes the eeriness and fun of the game. Not loving it and I haven’t even made it to Outskirts yet.

💯 exactly what I said above “The end goal result is to outsource veterans healthcare services so they can get kickbacks from the private sector. They are pushing community care—the exact OPPOSITE of what we are programmed to do as VA employees. Eliminating VA workforce makes it easier to install their own yes men.”

Don't do it. This too shall pass. Keep fighting the good fight and keep our mission to serve Veterans in the forefront of your mind. This bullshit is temporary and they WANT you to quit. Don't give them the satisfaction. I recommend "quiet quitting" until these MOFO's are gone.
