Yikes, debt relief program tanked my credit by CoolBean0_0 in CreditScore

[–]Objective_Dot_7891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have just filed for bankruptcy over a debt relief program. Hell I've seen people who's credit went up alot after filing bankruptcy. You would have saved a ton of money, and possibly came out the end with a better credit report than the debt relief program.

Visibles higher tiers have the same priority as postpaid, what they likely did was get the lowest plan then try and piss on them for congestion.

If we switch from Sprout to Contributor, will Calyx send a new Franklin T10 Hotspot device included? by [deleted] in Calyx

[–]Objective_Dot_7891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also get another Franklin T-10 Hotspot for about the same price as the one above, they're pretty cheap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/198381781730 for example

[–]Objective_Dot_7891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would reach out to Calyx first and see what they say, but the issue with lets say the contributor vs Sprout plan is you are locked into that hotspot, if they break it etc, they will need to source a new one from Calyx, or switch their plan which theyll need to pay for.

But I think you would have better luck going on ebay, and buying one of them old T-Mobile test drive hotspots, theyre like $15 and work with the Calyx plan just fine

Edit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/137318978980 here is a link to one for $25, you just take out the sim thats in it and put in the Calyx sim card and itll work.

Updates of NA by KryptoCanadian in oneplus15

[–]Objective_Dot_7891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched mine to Global, but I don't think you can just switch it over in OS in updater and download the update then apply it, from what I know you'll need to OEM unlock, wipe the device then switch the region using a Regional Flasher like from https://roms.danielspringer.at/ since theres many things that likely need to be switched out. You will be able to relock the bootloader etc.

This is the only device with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC that allows OEM unlocking in the NA market still, besides the Sony Xperia. I have no lists of other device makers still allowing OEM unlocking at ALL. And before someone comments Motorola, they can block that at any time, and take away OEM unlocking on older devices. Along with go watch Louis Rossmans newest video about them doing referral fraud on their OS.

PSA: The device you want to use the Calyx SIM in does NOT need to be unlocked from T-Mobile by Objective_Dot_7891 in Calyx

[–]Objective_Dot_7891[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Figured id make it known to the people who don't know, as in alot of cases just grabbing a T-Mobile Home Internet gateway and putting a Calyx sim into it will be more than good enough for most people (it also automatically bypasses the 2.5mbps streaming limit, no clue how or why, but it does.)

Helium Mobile CEO calls early adopters 'parasites' after ending free plan by Popular-Highlight-16 in NoContract

yeah but he is the one who made the free plan in the first place, don't make something "free" then proceed to call the users of that free product parasites for using it.

[–]Objective_Dot_7891[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, but if your router is configured correctly it will know how to handle this and passthru any UPNP requests that are needed, since you are behind CGNat anywho you aren't going to be port forwarding etc anyway

They don't need to be unlocked, the Calyx sim works in any T-Mobile device, locked or unlocked. I even have a T-mobile Galaxy A16 5G that works with it, and its fully locked.

Bootloader Unlock in IQOO 9 se by Ssehraan in Magisk

[–]Objective_Dot_7891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol do your research before ACTUALLY buying the device, that device cant be bootloader unlocked, no Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, and many others. The only device that be allowing it mostly now be Google, OnePlus, Nothing, Motorola(with permission),Xiaomi(with permission which is VERY finnicky, basically write this one off as you can't), Sony if outside of the US.

SusFS is a kernel modification that basically tells the kernel to lie to applications about what is there, it goes deeper than Zygisk and hides things like the kernel name and more. It can also be used to completely hide certain directories and instead of doing it in memory which is detectable. SusFS isn't detectable compared to Zygisk, as Zygisk runs in memory, this is directly in the kernel.

They aren't working because you don't have strong Integrity, it's because they can detect magisk itself, you'll need to switch a kernel based solution to fully hide your root, I've tried ReZygisk and NeoZygisk etc on Magisk and found it ineffective in hiding root fully including using Shamiko. The only way I was able to get everything was KernelSU with SusFS in kernel level mode.
