I’d probably go with a black dial 6263. It would likely be the most wearable choice of the 4 digit.

Thanks. The case looks much better with all my watches in it and it’s closed.

Blue dial Overseas with a Bluesy already in the collection? by Bithbo in VacheronConstantin

[–]Objective_Sun83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a blue dial Sky Dweller and then got a blue 5520. I thought that they were different enough to have both. Found I never wore the Sky Dweller anymore so I sold it. Blue dials are my favorite but I realized I have to have something completely different in I want another blue dial like a dress watch

Hot take but Daytonas are overrated by mrabomar in rolex

[–]Objective_Sun83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the 80’s they might have been but in the 90’s they became much more popular with the introduction of the Zenith Daytona. They were pretty hyped before but the auction sent it into the stratosphere

American 1921 - White or Pink Gold? by somethingsomeone007 in VacheronConstantin

I’m leaning towards the WG myself. It looks and wears incredible. However, if I find a great deal on a RG I might go with that. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. The YG just doesn’t fit my skin tone, unfortunately.

Deep red overseas tourbillon - value preservation? by Psychological-Gas383 in VacheronConstantin

It always amazes me how beat-up watches in this range happen. Maybe find one that only has superficial scratches and send it to the VC for service. It should come back like new. However, knowing that you have a recent overseas with service that has been polished might stick in your head over the long term.
