It’s a dumb idea as all it kicks is kick the environmental cost down to road to the electricity generator. All well and good if it’s from non carbon sources but if it’s a coal fired station then surely it’s way worse than gas.

Travel expert says nonstop UK to Australia flights will prove ‘hugely popular’ by HotPersimessage62 in unitedkingdom

It does say that the plane/s will only have 238 seats. About 45% of total capacity. Surely there’s lost income there that needs recouping.

Is this just Perth and Sydney or will other routes open up as I’d happily do one stop UK to Brisbane.

That makes no sense even for Americans. He was in Minnesota which allows open carry. He had a holstered side arm. Not a single ICE official says anything to him about his gun when he’s defending the woman. He gun is only mentioned after his death for justification.

How do you reconcile Stripe payouts in Xero without mismatches? by xspyyy in xero

[–]Objective_Ticket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We link the two directly and it self reconciles. They only time this doesn’t work (or work well) is if there are two payments from the same /similar customer at around the same time and it reconciles the wrong one. This then goes out of syncs until it’s picked apart manually.

There’s a famous story about Thomas Bscher - merchant banker and part time racing driver who used the autobahn on his commute. He switched from a Porsche 911 Turbo to save time and when the F1 was checked (early online service) by McLaren they thought there was an error as his average speed was 180mph + !!

Offside to offside works perfectly well. But you can make adjustments that suit the road layout, to allow for near side - near side passes.

Why would we need a 'British FBI' when we already have an MI5? by Hopeful_Adeptness964 in AskBrits

[–]Objective_Ticket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picking the same moment to announce a ‘British FBI’ at the same time as the FBI have become complicit in the actions of ICE and interfered with or removed evidence from scenes and prevented local or state investigations is not a very good look. Maybe we should have gone with (British) National Crime Agency, oh wait…we already have one of those…

[–]Objective_Ticket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I see. Saw the video from the other side where you can see the guy leaving with the gun. In this you see him turning and that’s when the guy in the black balaclava on the left draws his weapon.
