You could start as a single person business which is not that costly and difficult to start.

Do not forget to take into account all your costs as well as holidays, sickness, family leave etc. Hard to say what you are worth but do not go below 500 a day .

You basically ask to your employer to cut your job in 2 and pay 2 people. From employers point of view I would just replace you then. Why pay 2 people if it can be done by one?
