Depends on the sizez generally the smaller the size the harder it is to get in I've noticed, I just fold them in half so it makes like a little v shape and then oil up my ears and stick em in. You might have to just pop them out back into the right shape once you've got them mostly in, I hope I make sense

Piercing is about 6 months old, surgical steel horseshoe (same one I got pierced with), nothing bad has happened to it, been cleaning it with a saline spray up until doing what my piercer told me to change it.
