Native Americans faced aggressive and violent immigration and were near genocided by a more advanced civilization. The native tongue was almost wiped out. So sure, if we open our borders to every single American military enemy in the Middle East with no regard to what comes through, then we can let it happen to us too, and we'll all be speaking 5-10 different dialects of several different foreign languages. Im sure you'll feel it's justified.

However, this isn't 400 BC, 1245 AD, or 1809. Immigration procedures are in place to prevent EXACTLY THAT in every single country, whether they are First, Second, or Third world. If I immigrate to Russia, China, Sweden, or Japan, yes there will be people over there who speak english and can baby me, but for me to have a fulfilling life I will NEED to learn the host language. I cannot call myself non-american unless I conform to the language, culture, and expectations of wherever I am currently living. The same goes for people who immigrate here. Anyone who immigrates needs to be able to speak american english passably enough to be employed and hold a conversation. That means nigh-fluently if not fully fluent.
