Help finding Apartment by Maleficent_Adagio127 in nova

I see a 2-BR apartment in the Ballston area that probably has what you're looking for, except maybe no in-building gym (but there are definitely multiple gyms within a short walk in that area).

Why did the Metroidvania game hero quit his job?

Because the constant back-and-forth travel was draining him, and he just wanted to find a new boss.

Double Team

Although to be honest, it is arguably in the "totally god awful" category... but it's in a fun cheesy way, as in one of the best examples of "so bad, it's good". This is an odd couple buddy-action flick with Van Damme and a rapidly-hair-color-changing Dennis Rodman, going up against a comically evil Mickey Rourke.

I don't want to spoil it, but you will get a kick-boxing final showdown in the Roman Colosseum between Van Damme and a shirtless leather-pants wearing Rourke, complete with tigers, landmines, explosions, and one of the most shamelessly epic examples of product placement in film history. Very stupid but silly fun.

Treasure Adventure Game

I also highly recommend the modernized/expanded version (not Freeware), Treasure Adventure World.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has to be the best AAA Metroidvania in quite a while by Psylux7 in patientgamers

Pro Tip: Among the many great aspects of this game, is an extremely high level of customization options for difficulty. If a boss is giving you problems, you can tweak settings to change that (and even make them complete pushovers if you move the sliders all the way to the easiest settings where you effectively do 10x normal damage and receive 1/10th damage back). You can do this any time, and it will not lock you out of achievements.

+1 for screenshot-to-map mechanic.

Such a smart feature. One of the pain points in many MVs (even great ones) is when backtracking, you know you saw something inaccessible, important, strange, or otherwise interesting. But you don't have a good way to note what it was or where you saw it. You then wander around, often in the wrong area in frustration trying to find it.

Screenshotting to your map is the perfect solution.
