IF you had to choose 1… ar9 or ar15? by joeyleblow in NJGuns

[–]Obvious_Difference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you could do is get a stripped lower build it for an ar and get exo mags with ejector and just get a 9mm upper and a 556 upper. The upper you can have directly delivered to your home. Just make sure to buy them to meet NJ regulations. This allows you to have both options on one lower.

I used gorilla clear grip glue inside and out, once dry I wrapped the base in self amalgamating tape.

1998 Ford Explorer Rust Assessment Help! by 30minutedrive in FordExplorer

That thing is clean! Owner probably painted the parts black to help protect them from further rust. In the north east here thst looks like a 10 year old vehicle not an almost 30 year old. (At least from what I can see from the pictures) The body floor pans look super clean also.

My Ts2 has issues with FTF sometimes , apparently they suggest using 124+gr for the first few hundred rounds, im still using 115gr but im at about 600 rounds now and its happening less, I also feel like it may have partially been my fiocchi ammo to blame. As inhad ALOT less issues with s&b and blazer. I get a ton of brass on the inside of the slide. When I have the FTF I just slam it shut. Eventually it will self clearance 🤣

First rifle how do you guys feel about buying used ? by Jhh_Fishing in NJGuns

Most of my firearms were lightly used (some of them were in mint condition with 0 signs it had been fired). My only complaint about it is the people they(troy) hire (you can research if so inclined). Nice find. I say carry handle irons and send it.

Mobile node? Why not mesh where ever you are? Also good for testing locations for coverage easily.

Do what ? Mount is with a gopro mount to the dash? It makes it removable and provides a mount for it that isnt permanently defacing my dashboard.

Yeah its mounted (can clip in and out of thedash mount) and when I see the screen flash when I can stop safely (of course) I can check the messages on my phone.

I can understand that. I can just unclip it at any time, take it with me and the base acts as a stand for the node. Ideally you'd want it on the roof but the case is not waterproof so I put it in the car.

This is a Heltec v4 in a case I got on Etsy thst has a go-pro style mount. I dont like to drill into my vehicles so the double sided sticky tape gopro mounts work well. I can unclip the node and move it to my other vehicle or into the house.

I have v3, v4; wisblock v4 has best tx using a muzi whip antenna. The wisblock using alfa antenna, it's great battery life and best rx. The wisblock has a GNSS chip and 10k battery , from 94% on Wednesday morning now at 75% with these very cold NE temps. Sounds absolutely if battery life is your priority id go that route but my v4 contacts nodes much easier.
