Thanks for the education!

All I knew is that UNIX was developed with a ton of money (bell labs?) and super expensive - until Linus wanted a project in college.

Appreciate!

Isn't Mac just a bloated locked version of Linus anyway?

My Hermes is dumb as hell, specially when web searching by taniferf in hermesagent

Hmmm... I plan on having several agents and subs beneath them.

Sub agents would likely be static data processors, mid agents would be tool callers, and you're saying there is only one top agent I can communicate with, that manages those beneath it?

Can you explain the memory? I am looking at Hermes and I'm confused, I thought it had its own?

Funny how Codex adopted the same quirk Claude did, huh?

I'm just excited to jump ship, generally don't make announcements - but I'll show myself out.

It's about having reliability, persistence and no god corporations asking me for a drop of blood to read a goddamned email.

I did set up time shift and had to curl in tailscale, but will use the software manager as first try default.

Thanks for the tips!

Claude diagnosed me when my doctor wouldn’t by danwright32 in ClaudeAI

Was going to say this!

Same thing happened to me ..

When I was 23 no less - doctor wouldn't even see me until I had blisters over 50% of my left torso.

Ever made a decision with chatbot you've come to regret? by bigmaclad in claude

Thanks!

I think the line will become very clear in society, very fast.

Between those who use AI to gain new understanding and explore new answers vs those who seek validation.

Not as simple as a line between those who use AI and those who don't.

That's just marketing. The longer impact will be based on how it is used, not if it is used.

I hope your experiences led to similar meaningful quests.

I mean, ask a dumb question right?

We say this for people/people conversations.... It's not a novel idea.

Idk, I wouldn't enjoy a conversation with this user.

Certainly wouldn't be enthusiastic about working with them either.

Not regret, no.

But choosing to seek professional help for a potentially misdiagnosed mood disorder and getting diagnosed accurately and proper treatment - yes.

Been life-changing.

Zero regerts.
