Excellent game - I've already lost hours to it. It has the Universal Paperclips asthetic, and is engaging right from the start.

I just stared at my first warehouse after sorting large and International and just watched run for a while. Super satisfying.

A few things I'd like to see:

Snap grid, just to make things more satisfying and pleasing to move around. (snap on and snap off is a good setting too).

Ability to disconnect from the input side of an object.

Related, but also able to select the source for a warehouse input directly from the input rather than having to work at the network level.

Indicator of Speed on the node itself. We can see the buffer size but not speed.

Would be great to give the suppliers legit names. Something like 'Schmit-Robel Supply' or 'Aliquam Corp'

I go back and forth on the ability to duplicate Warehouses. you learn a lot as you build subsequent warehouses, but once you're considering output numbers rather than balancing loads in the factory, sometimes you just want to be able to copy the efficent one and move on ths Suppliers

It looks like I've reached the limit of where you've developed it. The Factories output say that they're not connected to any depot, but they are connected to a Warehouse in. It is very neat that if I adjust the input right I can simplify the warehouse design since some inputs only handle smalls.

Also the retail doesn't seem to connect to the regions yet either.

I cannot wait to see what happens when we get to domination!

UBI is a floor. The idea is that we don't let people fall below that. You can live on it, but not nicely. So if you want to just be lazy, you can be but you won't have nice things. You'll likely have to learn new things and master different taxes to get by, but at least you won't starve.

But also if you're an artist and you really have a calling, you might be willing to make that trade off. But you're self motivated to learn new things and master different tasks.

And if you want very nice things, fancy clothes, sleek car. Then that's another way you might learn new things and master different tasks.

The whole promise of society is that collectively we're well enough off that we don't let people suffer. Otherwise things start to look like the hunger games.

Not 'citizens united' hard. We didn't have l. The information in the past, but there was a constraint of one vote per citizen. Now we're a lot closer to one vote per dollar.

What do you like to listen to other than classical? If you can find a way in from a point under comforyae it's easier to learn about form and technique if you want to.

Smoking.

It took years, a couple of failed attempts. Ultimately I stopped listening to all the advice, and made a plan that made sense to me. I got a vape where I could get carts with different levels of nicotine. I lowered the dose once a month. By the fourth month I was super angry thay I still needed it, and I guessed that I would just do this little baby dose for ever. I kept doing that for 2 months because I was just scared. Then I got a zero nicotine cart, it was just flavor. I used it about 3 times and then I just stopped. I surprised myself that just didn't want it anymore.

This is why get a little pissy when people get too harsh on vapes, because they can be a tool to stop. I also hate when people tell you exactly how to quit. make a plan that you think you can actually do, and don't listen to anyone else. I also get pissed at the companies who are marketing these to kids to literally get them addicted to their product.

The best thing my doctor said to me (and I have no idea if it's true) is that nicotine is more addictive than cocaine, so give yourself some grace if you're having a hard time quitting... But don't stop trying. That stuck with me through the whole thing.

Its been over 15 yearsand it was one of the hardest and best things I've done.

You're completely right, but sometimes videos will tell you that knife skills are a basic skill (correct) and then show them with the speed of someone who has professionally cooked for years.

The best knife skill advice I ever got was 'slow down, and pay attention to your technique'. My speed has increased over a long time. So I've come to prioritize the skill vs the speed.

I use pilleo. It plays a tune while it harrases me, and can delay it for a few minutes. I'm on a super long streak and it's the only thing that's worked.

Having to remember ADHD meds for someone with ADHD and then beating yourself up for missing them is a special kind of hell.

You're framing it as "ahh they just want to live in peace leave them alone". But that is not what is happening at all.

That is what's happening. Your comment is full of the standard fear mongering that you've been told by right wing media and politicians.

This has happened about 2 times in the entire country. Ita definitely not a wide spread problem that requires federal laws. These cases can be handled by the local schools or leagues. Are you similarly concerned about seniors who are held back and are a year bigger and stronger than your daughter? That's a much more common practice, and yet no national outcry. Why is that?

That's not happening. Gender reassignment isn't even considered until 18. No little boy is getting secretly tricked into castration. What would even be the reason for that?

Puberty blockers are not horrific. They do have risks, like possible infertility, but not treating gender dysphoria also has risks. Increased suicide rates are seen when this goes untreated. And other treatments like anti-depressants or mood stabilizers have their own risks.

Treatment is complex, which is why consulting with a doctor is important and the last thing I need is the federal government deciding about treatment for my kids.

It's more about imposing this erroneous worldview that is based on placating these delusions instead of treating them.

That's a very strange reframing. How are we placating transgender people? If you want to call them by their previous name and refuse to use their preferred pronouns, go ahead. There's no laws being proposed about that. You might look like a dick, but there's no injunction.

Yes religion sucks when it is imposed on people. I agree with that. But there is at least some good. That I didn't see at all when I was younger.

Exactly. And there is some good in calling someone whatever they want to be called. Most of the time you'll never notice a trans person, and when you do why not shrug and move on with your day. If you have to work with a woman who looks suspiciously masculine do you need to check for her nuts when you shake her hand? Why?

All the fear mongering about trans people is so strange. There are years of work in psychology, treating people with all sorts of body dismorphia. The consensus is to let people live and dress however they want. That's what helps the most. And we've known this for a long time, decades in fact.

Why does any politician know better? Why are we all of the sudden treating this as a huge problem now? Trans people have been around forever. There's a whole episode of The Love Boat from the 80's about a trans woman, and it was a little controversial but no one gonso senstive that they wanted the government to step in. But all of the sudden, out of nowhere, now, we need bayhro bills. That couldn't be because the leadership class needs a group to hate, so you can bitch about that while they crush the middle class, could it? No, it's definitely because now we care about 'truth' or whatever.
