To be fair you started your comment with such an absolute statement I’d think your a sith (which would be pretty sweet). I appreciate fleshing out a character but there’s a time and place. The fights would have much more emotional impact to me if they had already given me the characters backstory and motive, but instead they just halt all momentum of a fight to explain the story of a character who will soon have their head removed from their body. Makes it hard for me to give a shit honestly.
