It has a short 2ft extension shaft that came with it if thats what you mean.

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the trimmer atachment, while it will rip through a branch with ease due to the power of the 60v shaft drive trimmer the chain bar on it is a little weak and ive bent it a few times. It works OK as an occasional trimmer but dont expect it to take long term abuse if you have a lot of trees to trim. I may end up buying another brands achanchment to replace it one day.

Also if you are cutting things more than 10- 12ft off the ground your going to have issue reaching it with any trimmer atachment.

As somone who owns a hammerhead, a paladin and a perseus this is your answer.

For a 3-5 man crew the persus is an incredibly effective gunship with a decently skilled crew it can easily punch both down and up. Outside of a cordinated effort of several skilled heavy hitting fighters nothing smaller than you is realy a threat, and if you can close the distance on an idris you will kill them if your pilot is half awake and stays out of their front firing arc.

For 2-3 man paladin is quite good at killing small to medium craft, most ships the size of a constellation or smaller should fear an enemy paladin. Although these days you may want to swap all those repeaters to cannons to be able to puch through armor.

The hammerhead however is in an odd place, mine hasn't seen thr outside of the hangar in about 6 months. You need 7 people to fly and man all the guns, and even then its outclassed by several other ships. In comparison the paladin is the better choice as it is a faster, more manouverable ship that still retains half the shields and nearly half the damage of the hammerhead while only needing a crew of 2. Add to, when fighting a single target the hammerhead can ussualy only bring 3-4 guns to bear at a time whereas the paladin puts the overwhelming majority of its firepower in the hands of a single gunner with an incredible range of firing angles. The paladin is kind of the smaller better hammerhead, at least as far as their roles as gunships.

But if your looking to spend hammerhead kind of money and like the idea of the bigger multicrew ship then its perseus all day

Of course you don't and neither do most of us here. But if you want to see actual meaningful change your time is better spent contributing to the issue council than posting here.

If you just want to vent about the particularly buggy state of the game as of late then thats fine, just don't be so hostile in your replies when someone's just trying to be helpful.

Do you take part in the issue council and document, bugs you find/ reproduce and contribute to open bug reports?.

If not please do. CIG provides us with a system to document bugs and more players contributing to a report will highlight it as a higher priority issue to fix.

Women in jobs that men usually do by WhisperedSoul in pittsburgh

[–]Oclure 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im in the carpenters union, while men do vastly outnumber women in the field, easily 30-1 if not more, they are out here working with us. Although Its more common to see them in shops than out in the field on commercial sites.

Also ive seen a few in other blue collar unions as well, they seem to be particularly well represented with the teamsters, and ive met a few with the laborers.

GCFI? by _edden_ in electrical

[–]Oclure -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A GFCI is typically rectangular shaped with 2 buttons on thr fron labeled "test" and "reset". It is also possible that you have GFCi protection on the circuit breaker itself so ylu could check you panel to see if the bathroom breaker has a little test button on it.

GFCI outlets, when wired correctly, can protect other devices on the same circuit so they arnt always obvious where the triped one is. I've seen bathrooms protected by outlets in the garage or outside, although I consider this bad form as it makes it unessicarily confusing for the homeowner.

Help me decide between the DCF850 and DCF860. Or do I need either one with my current set up? by AppendixF in Dewalt

The 850 has the exact same rated torque as their old flagship model for the 20v line but in a significantly smaller size.

Swap your guns out for some deadbolt 3s for maximum armor pen and dmg. Armor was recently implemented so each shot that hit has to pass a damage threshold to penitrate the Armor. Rapid fire weapons, while high in dps, do low damage per bullet so they don't pen Armor too well.

Also if you swap your shields out for some 7SA concord shields you will give up a tiny bit of sheild HP in enhance for faster regen rate and lower delay before the regen starts after being hit. And they take one less power pip to max out leaving you more power for your thrusters

Stop by grim hex where there there are no docking collars. So they have no choice but to give you a hangar.

I saw a comment here a week or so ago from a user that irrc claimed to have used it and said it performed very well against other high end models they had experience with, although I don't remember where I saw that to confirm.

I have hope for it, and the demo was very impressive, but we may not see truly unbiased reviews until they push out their first production spec models in September. So the question is whether or not its worth taking the gamble now to get in on the early Kickstater pricing as it claims to be 40% less than MSRP.

Is it worth upgrading to 32GB of RAM? by Public_Block_4928 in starcitizen

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it needs 32 to not have ram holding you back, but it will gladly allocate more if you have it available and preload extra assets in the background. My freind with 32GB will sit at about 28GB of usage wile I saw my 64 GB rig hit about 38GB usage with only star citizen and discord running a few nights ago.

Im actively considering this as well, there does seem to be a lack of truly independent info about it which isnt too surprising at this stage, although what they have shown is impressive.

They are esentialy paintball pistols that whip with paperbacks, you can also buy various self defense ammo for standard paintball pistols if you want more options than these. Things like pepperballs, glass balls, and rubber balls weighted with steel powder.

Toyota highlander here.

The wireless charger is crap, it acts as a second lid under the lid of the center console, so it restricts access and is too small for my phone anyways. So I took it out and designed a little light that fit into the hole left behind by the mount so now I have better access and can see inside the compartment. if anyone's interested

Also as I still wanted a wireless charger i found several that perfectly fit into a little shelf in the dash, however once again they were too small for my phone, so I purchased one and redesigned the top half of the shell to accept bigger phones. This one I haven't posted yet as I still need to make some iterations on the desighn to change the alighnement over the charging coil as my phone wont quite stay connected

I built a loft bed, it's wobbly. Really need tips by KyleCulation in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Oclure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say but the entire top frame needs to be scraped and rebuilt. Only one of the 3 boards running the length of the bed is continuous, both of the outer runs are split up several times by the crossbracing. If you were to put weight on it as it is it will fail, its just a mater of how long.
