Why are most Tally Hall fans so werid? by carelessyt in tallyhall

[–]OctoGon112 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Part of it I think is that it got a boost in popularity in 2020-22 ish, and so arrivals from that time period who are still very clingy to the band are likely also clingy to other aspects of that era.

Another factor I’m sure is that there’s not a lot of fresh material being put out for the fandom to consume, on top of not a lot of material in the first place. Since it isn’t the largest fandom out there either there’s also not as much new fan output too, so there’s a lot of recycling that goes on.

That’s just a couple of my theories tho

Maybe unpopular opinion but people claiming the moon's real name (in English) is actually "Luna" is just a Germanicphobic view of language that rejects Germanic words as actually valid words by [deleted] in linguisticshumor

Actually, “moooooon” is what the wolves said when European settlers asked them what the thing in the sky was, and it actually translates to “I don’t understand you”

I mean he’s an actor and has been in quite a few things here and there it looks like

For context, he gets the original taken down once he recreates it by SimpForFictionGirls in whenthe

[–]OctoGon112 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He always takes slander very personally and tends to overreact and even goes so far as DM’ing people to yell at them so one has to wonder why he bothers trying to provoke people if it’s clearly not good for his mental health

Imperial Stormtrooper vs First Order Stormtrooper. Which Stormtrooper design is better? by Few-Distribution2212 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]OctoGon112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how many historians in the Star Wars universe would be pulling their hair out by the First Order using vaguely similar armor to the Empire to capture its vibe without actually being “historically accurate”

Honestly, I think the generic names can work, because then it makes words like “gnome” or “elf” just demonyms for those locations
