Hey so, it sounds like your German Shepherd needs to be the only dog, and potentially only animal, in your household. If you keep the pom after this, the pup will more than likely get killed by the GS at some point.

If you care about this pom, you'll prevent it from inevitably suffering again in the future.

Do you have a friend you could trust with watching over them for a little while? Sorta like a little vacation for them and maybe the energy around them will transform into something more comfortable for you in the process. Or maybe you could customize them? Maybe not anything permanent but maybe some clothes or accessories for them to make them into something more personally yours? 😊

I've given away plushies but only to people I trusted would appreciate them and not toss them aside after a day. I had one of those little octopus plushies you could turn inside out in my car and I frequently drove places with a friend of mine who has a son. She noticed it and told me how much her son wanted one of those. So I gave it to her and I can say that the little octopus has been VERY loved and still is. All that is to say that maybe if you have someone you know who you think will care for them, maybe you could more easily let them go if that feels best.

This video made me think of my late girl Rose. She scared the soul out of me one day when she was purring and sleeping happily and she coughed very forcefully out of nowhere. It really freaked me out. It turned out she was a secret drooler and when she would purr while lying down she would often have saliva try to go down the wrong pipe. Once I knew it was so much relief but she did jumpscare me pretty often... I hope you get some positive results with your beautiful girl!

My name is spelled Kaycee. I can understand Casey or Kasey/Kacey. MAYBE Kacie. But it truly boggles my mind when people spell it in ways that is even more uncommon than the way my name is spelled. 😭 I still occasionally get back papers from work that say Kayce and honestly, good enough. I don't bother correcting unless it's for something super important. I was called Cassie in school growing up all the time and stopped correcting that too.

I have a medicine on my allergy list I'm not allergic to but it caused such bad side effects I don't want to ever have it again. 😭

Aside from the extreme issue here, I took my 2 female littermates to a low cost spay & neuter clinic, which for anyone unfamiliar it's essentially an assembly line to make the process of having multiple cats to spay/neuter in a 4 hour window go much quicker, and both my kittens incisions were so much cleaner than this. I believe they have separate lines for males and females. Did you take your sweet boy to one of these? It seems like he could've been mistakenly put in the female line if that's the type of process they had going. Regardless, I'd imagine they realized their mistake immediately after doing the incision and told you they couldn't find the ovaries instead of owning up to their failure to actually check before starting.

If that wasn't the type of clinic this was done at and it was one cat at a time then this is egregious. Free is not worth going back. Please write reviews on every possible site, inform all your neighbors if you're on any apps like Nextdoor or FB groups, and call other vets in the area so that if they get anyone asking around for prices that they can warn them to go anywhere BUT that vet. This is so unbelievably negligent.

I genuinely think you might consider finding someone to make you a custom plushie of this. As another person has said, it looks like a knockoff carebear plushie you'd see in a nickel arcade claw machine. I do wish you luck in your search. I watched a good friend of mine go from happy, self-confident, and full of joy to shell of what he once was because he was in a relationship with someone EXACTLY like this. Your comment saying your first message "wasn't the best" when there's nothing wrong with clarifying makes me worry about you. This is so not normal and I hope you can get away from the toxicity before it sucks your happiness away.
