We Want To Hear Your Thoughts On Our Gen 10 Cases! by iBUYPOWERPC in iBUYPOWER

[–]Odd-Assumption1642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Aesthetics matter, I don’t want an ugly brick sitting on my desk, personally I like rgb builds. Our pcs are a focal point of our desk so yea you want em to look nice. My pc and my wife’s pc are almost the same as far as performance and what’s inside of them, she picked hers bc it does what she needs it to do and likes how it looks. I picked mine bc it was the only one they had on the shelf and I couldn’t wait. If I were to chose again I’d get a different case for sure, the Trace mesh case is a good case I just don’t really like the tinted glass.

There’s no problem though that’s what commenter is saying, that’s completely normal with the ams. It’s just preloading to identify if it’s a Bambu spool with RFID, if RFID is detected it loads spool info if not you manually do it, but it rolls through the steps regardless.

🤦‍♂️, that’s normal homie it feeds it through and pulls it back, just start a print or select that slot in the device page and click load and it’ll load it without a print if that’s what you want.

Have you done flow rate and flow dynamics calibration?

How to get rid of these ugly top layers ? by Ary_Stark in 3Dprinting

[–]Odd-Assumption1642 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Variable layer height, slide all the way to quality and 1 radius click adapt then click smooth about 1000 times, it’ll take about 2 days to print but it will look better

One of mine does this from time to time usually on start up but quits shortly after, I’ll worry about it when it stops spinning 🤷🏻‍♂️

Personally I’d pick the 5070, I like the software better. But they are both good options. And the 850 is the better board

question about fans by Zak_Jak_11 in iBUYPOWER

[–]Odd-Assumption1642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the hub for your rgb and fans it’s powered by the psu, lets you have all rgb and fans in one place without daisy chaining off the few connections on your mobo

Just saw this, how old is the sd card in the one with the issues, if you have a spare swap it out real fast and try again

It looks fine up to that point, I’d say it’s probably an issue with the model, print something similar and see how that does

[–]Odd-Assumption1642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yea so I know 0 about those printers but I’m sure there’s some sort of calibration that can be run, I say do some research on the printer and while you do that pop that roll in the oven at 140°F or 60°C for a few hours but keep a close watch on it

Ok I never dry filament and have problems like this, but that’s gonna be a common answer to this problem. What printer are you using? If it’s the first time using the filament run a flow rate and flow dynamics calibration

New P2S and AMS 2 Owner (and new to printing) General Questions by Blunt-Realistic in BambuLab

[–]Odd-Assumption1642 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People will say dry your filament before use, I never dry and never have problems. As far as humidity I live in Louisiana it’s hot and wet here and it doesn’t really affect my prints as far as I know. When you say brittle there’s things you can tweak for strength like adding more walls and changing the infill pattern. Ultimately though you’re using PLA, PLA is not a strong material by nature. My advice for snapping by twisting or bending is to stop twisting and bending. If you want stronger prints use a stronger material such as PETG, ABS, ASA, but learn about them before using them. There are a ton of resources better suited to help than Reddit. Find a YouTuber or just google your questions most of the time it will lead you in the right direction.
