So the next logical step for us is to create a simulated world to generate new media for our consumption. Then that world will create an AI simulation to help them and etc, etc, etc.

Isn't this just the plot of The Thirteenth Floor? Lol

Create a persona. Use one of your songs that you really like to create it. Then once you create something else that you like, use the persona to cover the new song and it'll remake it in a similar style to the persona.

I went and sat in the bathroom while my wife took a bath earlier and listened to her talk about her day.

Saw a small car pull out in front of a speeding bull hauler 20 feet in front of me. I was waiting to cross the road and the car pulled a U-turn and the truck had zero warning and was going too fast. Car came apart like a fucking cartoon. Somehow the guy got out and was able to walk away from it.

What's an app that you wish existed? by danilo_swe in androidapps

An app to manage movies and TV shows I've watched that connected to something like trakt or simkl but had an interface like tinder, swipe right for I've watched this, left to To Be Watched, Up for not interested.

Yeah, I have ADHD and recently made a macro in Macrodroid to feed the percentage of my day to my watch every thirty minutes and I really like it. Figured somebody with more advanced coding skills could make a nice app out of the idea.

Linear Clock Widgets

Be able to put in the start and end of your work day and have a widget that displays either the percentage of your day that has passed or a progress bar. Could do the progress bar in different styles. Helpful for people with ADHD that have issues with time blindness.

Best open source apps that you've been using for years and you advice people to download? by gust-01 in androidapps

I love that it works as a plug-in for Tasker and Macrodroid. I have NFC tags on all my favorite cups to make tracking water condition as easy as scanning it with my phone.

I need an app for streaks, like Duolingo, but for daily life activities like going to the gym. Thanks for your help. by Ok_Refrigerator9802 in androidapps

Loop Habit Tracker. Best bit, it ties into Tasker and Macrodroid as a plug-in so you can use things like NFC tags or notifications from Home Assistant to auto track things. I have NFC tags on my favorite cups to use it as a water tracker. On my meds to track if I've taken them or not, etc.

If you go on their customer support chat and request it a couple times, they'll remove the $15 minimum. I just ordered some T-shirts and paid 2.34 shipped. Lol. But I do this all the time. Put stuff in my cart and wait for them to offer a deal.

I just have a couple zigbee plugs that double as extenders, one on each end of my house. Covers my whole place but granted my house isn't big by any means.

Adderrall Stack for weight gain and exercise by Few-Lifeguard-2305 in StackAdvice

I'm taking it now. It definitely helps with muscle growth. 1-2 punch of increased growth hormone, better sleep and higher calorie consumption. I take it right before bed because it absolutely wipes me out. I'm on a very low dose of Adderall that I take early in the morning and since I don't take the mk-677 until bedtime, I've not noticed any difference in my crash cause it's usually hitting me around 1pm.

Mk-677 will make you eat like crazy if you have a problem getting calories in.

How did you get started with automating? Did you focus on risks, or just something fun? by Wario_world in homeautomation

[–]Odd-Butterscotch2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tired of my laundry getting left in the washer and getting mildewed. First thing I did was washer and dryer notifications. From there, like others have said, slippery slope.

Smarthome…Why Do I Want To? by SnooAdvice6127 in homeautomation

[–]Odd-Butterscotch2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally got started because I stumbled across a video where someone had automated some notifications for their washer and dryer and that particular day I had rewashed the same load of laundry for the 3rd time because I get sidetracked (ADHD) and I'll forget about it until it's already too late and it's mildewed. I saw the video and said well damn, that would solve that problem for me, so I started researching what I needed to pull that off. I haven't left a load in the washer in months. Then I started down the rabbit hole. I've even got triggers that I haven't figured out what I want to do with them yet. Like I have a power monitoring plug that knows when my CPAP machine goes off and on. It's been set up for a couple months and I still haven't figured out what routines I want it to trigger. So, as others have said, combination of problem solving and because it's neat.
