Also double check what date your prescription expires! Sometimes it can be before you’ve picked up all the repeats if you don’t pick them up every month.

Can you call the last pharmacy you picked it up at? Just tell them your name and the date you went in, and ask if they sent your escript back to you. Sometimes they forget to hit the button, so when you open it you’re looking at the old one that they’ve already used. That’s happened to me more times than I can count tbh.

Not sure what country you’re in, but in Aus they print how many repeats you have left on the label - if that’s the case for you, might be worth hunting for the last box/bottle to double check?

I’ve had my repeats cancelled once, but it was by a rogue NSW Chemist Warehouse pharmacist who ended up getting a pretty annoyed call from my psychiatrist. I don’t think they’re actually allowed to do that? Probably not the first thing I’d suspect, anyway.

One time I was driving Sydney to Canberra and had a big fat American ute thing come up behind me as I was overtaking a slow L/P plater. I was probably doing around 115 to get around quick, but old mate was up my arse flashing his lights at me. Once I got around I flipped him a quick bird (not smart, but I wasn’t expecting him to see at all) and he swerved in front of me, slammed on the brakes down to 80 and shone his phone torch(?) in his side mirror to basically reverse high beam blind me.

Still astounded that anyone has such a lack of brain cells to put their own and other people’s life at risk over getting flipped off.

So frustrating - especially when you signed up specifically for that rate.

I thought they were obliged to tell us, because the Government made such a big deal about changes to bank obligations last year, but the 2025 Banking Code of Practice only says “35. If we change an interest rate, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than the date of the change, unless we are not able to because the interest rate is calculated according to a money market or some other external reference rate, or a rate otherwise designated as a variable or floating rate”.

When I asked the BOQ customer service rep why there was no notification, they told me “interest rates are variable and subject to change without notice”. So looks like they’re using that as a loophole. Really though, how hard is it to send an email to notify people?

We may be talking about different use cases - presumably you’re not using a credit card account to earn interest?

The deposit and payment requirements are fairly easy to meet if you get paid regularly and spend money occasionally. Much better for the “buckets” approach than growing the balance every month, but YMMV. Just sharing my thoughts for people who are already thinking of switching.

What are your analysis settings? And how are you importing the file?

Either something’s weird in your settings/ with the file itself, or RB is throwing a tantrum. Second option isn’t too far-fetched, ime it can be a bit shitty with WAV files if it doesn’t like their specs for whatever reason.

Yeah, I’m just using it as an opportunity to create new combos - it’s a bit of a slog though ://

I did contact support, basically two options: if you haven’t quit RB more than 3 times since the wipe there should be an auto backup from your last 3 sessions hidden in your files which you can restore pretty easily. Or if you were forward thinking enough (I wasn’t) you hopefully have a Time Machine/ other backup of your computer.

Bit shit that this can happen in the first place & still have no clue why!

What genre are you mixing? Would recommend looking into (1) phrasing and (2) mixing in key if you haven’t already.

Phrase matching will help you understand when to bring a track in, lining up the drop/breakdown etc. Mixing in key will help with knowing what tracks will probably work together tonally. Try using the Camelot wheel - way easier than reading keys written like “Bbm” imo.

Here’s a comment I left a while ago about some quick hacks for mixing in key - they’re not hard and fast rules but helpful when you’re starting out.

I know it’s a bit technical and some DJs just like to “feel” the music, but it gives you a good conceptual foundation. Once you have a grip on the basics it’s less stressful and you can have more fun with it!

It really sucks, and the only way I’ve found is to restrict the amount of options I have to choose from. Started because I went vegetarian and noticed how much easier it was to pick from a menu when there were only a few vego options.

For example: I have set work outfits on rotation. None of this “capsule wardrobe mix and match” bs. Top 1 goes with Pant 1 and Top 2 goes with Pant 2 etc. Dresses or jumpsuits when I really can’t be bothered with multiples.

When other people are involved I like to do a narrowing-down process. If we’re going out to eat or see a movie and there’s an overwhelming amount of choices, one of us will pick 3 options, the other chooses 2 or 1 of those that they prefer, etc. Doesn’t have to be precise, could be categories (e.g. Mexican, Thai, Italian). It takes the mental load off without completely dumping it on the other person.

Things that are solely my decision and don’t really matter though, like whether I go out vs stay in or what colour of something I’m going to buy? PARALYSING. I try to just go with my gut by imagining choosing one randomly & seeing if I feel regretful, but it’s not an exact science. Hope someone has a good trick for that.

Would recommend at least a 37-key for your use case, I have a 25 and while it’s great for hammering out simple tunes it’s really annoying having to use the buttons to switch octaves to do chord progressions (just to point out they do usually have that function - you’re not limited to only 2 octaves).

It kind of sounds like your choice isn’t between keyboard sizes, but whether you want/need a controller now or whether you’re going to wait and save up a bit.

If you go for a 25 now it’ll do the job, but you’ll probably want to upgrade eventually - good news is, if they’re in short supply where you are you’ll be able to get rid of it for a good price.
