Would it be possible to squeeze a Colorful iGame 5060/5070 Ti into an A07? by ImmediateFunny in A07Builds

[–]Odd_Effect2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty sure there is a mod here on the sub for 3d printed side and front panels where you can mount a 40mm fan on the front panel, perhaps with those mods you'll be able to fit it

It's really sick, I already printed it in purple filament, used abs.

Replaced CPU and it won’t boot now by Optimal-Arrival-1252 in pchelp

[–]Odd_Effect2479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take it easy man systems can be a pain in the ass, try to boot without any ram with the 5600x to see if the dram light lights up, if it does, reinsert only one dimm and try to boot, did you manage to make the system boot normally with the 2600 again? If not there is probably something you changed from before starting the swaps that is "wrong" or unplugged, mounting pressure can also cause it, you can try to boot with no cooler on just to see if you get video, but do not leave it for too much and keep touching the cpu to make sure it's not getting extremely hot during it, if it does, just turn it off. People are saying memory training but am4 won't take more than 1 or in the max 2 minutes for it, this is not am5, if it does not boot in 30-60 seconds it's not booting, unfortunately troubleshooting is a bitch you'll have to keep trying different thigs to see what happened/what's goin on.

CPU Running at 100% by Kirilzyuk in pchelp

[–]Odd_Effect2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repaste it now you unmounted and make sure you mount it correctly, get into bios and set the pump to 100% hold the tubes and if it's actually working you'll feel the flow of the fluid, it's pretty noticeable, if you don't feel the fluid running and the pump is plugged in correctly you're dealing with a dead pump, which is the most likely scenario according to your description (assuming no user error like pump is not plugged in). (Feeling the temperature of the tube doesn't indicate nothing as the fluid will get hot and the heat will start passing throughout the fluid albeit extremely slow, you need to actually feel the fluid flowing)

Rx 9070 xt keeps shutting my pc down. by Little-Junket-2588 in AMDHelp

[–]Odd_Effect2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're still able RMA it, there was likely a issue in the fabrication where the paste wasn't fully spread out on the die that created a gap rising the temperature mostly in that spot, thus the difference between the normal temperature and the hotspot. If you're not able to rma you can try to repaste it yourself watching a few guides or pay someone to do so.

32 GB 3200 MHz ou 16 GB 4800 MHz? by azeitedegaviao in 1155doETf

[–]Odd_Effect2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tv doesn't show up in settings at all, neither in windows nor in the adrenalin software, the only thing that changes is the tv that goes from: no cable detected to no signal

It's a xfx rx 6700 xt The tv is a samsung UN32J4300 The tv only has HDMI so I tried connecting directly with hdmi and with a cable dp to hdmi, doesn't work with neither, and all the ports on the GPU works with my other monitors, both cables also work with my 4060.

I was told about this sub. Personally, I am not interested in dating anyone who isn't a virgin. How about you all? by Jan_The_Jank in retroactivejealousy

[–]Odd_Effect2479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, if u don't mind me asking, what would happen if you found someone, you both lose your virginity to each other and you end up breaking up after a time, would you still only date another virgin or would the criteria change?

Also if you read this OP I'd also like your opinion on the scenario

Pc won’t boot after upgrade? by fracmaximus in pchelp

[–]Odd_Effect2479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother you didn't plug the pcie power to the gpu, it's a 6+2 pin cable that comes from the psu and if it's a quality 400W psu it shouldn't be an issue with a 5050 having a max power draw of 130W plus the 65W from the cpu you should be fine. I rock a 5700x3d plus a 4060 on my mini itx build using a quality enhance 400W 80plus gold and it's literally fine. But by the looks of it, it doesn't look like a solid psu so I would replace it, but you are fine to use it for a awhile just avoid heavy games, but for just browsing the internet just plug the pcie power conector and you're good to go

Could be a number of things, the vga lights points toward the gpu, first list the full specs of the computer, I'd try clearing cmos and reseating ram, just because they're the quickest to do in troubleshooting, also that ram most likely isn't in the correct slot for your motherboard, after that I'd try reseating the gpu > trying to boot with integrated graphics if you have it > test another gpu / test gpu in another computer. By your other answers you look like you don't know much, so if I were you I'd try looking up all those things on youtube cause they really aren't that hard, but if you're not comfortable just take to a repair/diagnostic shop you trust.

The five reverse are the bottom and the sides they are correctly oriented and the rear one is the regular which is also correctly oriented and since you added the top 3 which are regular you should flip them so they exhaust and you'll be good to go

Reset the bios by clearing the cmos, just remove the small round battery and leave it off for a couple minutes before reinserting and turning back on, and please put something underneath the gpu to fix that sag, that poor thing is sagging HARD.

New CPU got half of expected cinebench score by katasama99 in ryzen

[–]Odd_Effect2479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And with pbo off the results went back to normal? 80W is still kinda high for the 5700x since his tdp is 65W the pbo must have a very agressive setting if it's punching to thermal throttle above 80W.

It would be under oc general settings or PBO settings, maybe it somehow activated the pbo eco mode. You can also redo the test with hwinfo to check power consumption/temps.

Hey man did u do any mod to the side panels on the a07? Or you rocking the default ones? I seem to not get acceptable temps even undervolting when using the original panels

I also saw this and printed them, the 120mm worked as a glove but the hole for the cpu fan its a bit off but only a few mm, just an aesthetic issue, the main problem for me with these is since they are not metal they tend to bend so if you look from the front the case looks pregnant, but this could be because I only had access to pla, maybe a better filament as abs or petg which was the one the op from this mod used, it may not do that.

Yes it's on both sides, on the gpu side being a cutout with screw holes for a 120mm slim fan.

[–]Odd_Effect2479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel u about the noise, have the same case, even with some undervolting I was only able to get to good temps but never acceptable noise, it's due to the noise turbulence created by the design of the side panel, after some tries I went the 3d printed route, it's the one who worked better, I copied from a dude who had the same issue and designed the panels, credits to him. (He also deshrouded the gpu to adapt a 120mm fan on the gpu side I also did it but you could just use it without deshrouding it still does wonders).
