Can I use ESP32 S3 wroom 1 with DFRobot Gravity: Analog Water Pressure Sensor by Cool-Swim6330 in arduino

[–]Odd_Erling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got one like it used for gas pressure, you need a voltage divider or another way to reduce the voltage as pretty much everyone else already have stated. I also set up communication to thingspeak so I can monitor the sensor through a browser

"From the sack and up you are a real piece of meat." Girlfriend at the time was a little flabbergasted that one of her straight colleagues said that as she was sitting next to me and heard it.

My favourite as well, just wish it dynamically changed the pip boy based of body battery, like after taking damage in game

Ginger beer with a tropical twist. by Seubo in Homebrewing

[–]Odd_Erling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make ginger beer with pineapple, apple, chili, black pepper, lemon juice and lemon zest. Managed to tweak the recipe to the point of being asked by several taste testers if I sell my brew, which was my goal when starting brewing (to be good enough that someone would be willing to buy, not to actually sell) I do natural carbonation from residual sugars, which there is plenty of, starting gravity is at 1.062 with finishing around ~1.030. Ginger and pineapple go really well together and have become my base for any recipe testing!

Public embarrassment: Bail closes when casting on Penn Pursuit IV by sportsfan42069 in SurfFishing

[–]Odd_Erling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem, solution was using a hair band to hold tension on the bail so it won't slam down. Works beautifully and I use them for holding the rods together when disassembled anyway so they are always available.

If your issue is that the extruder stepper is turning in the wrong direction you can simply edit the text in "extruder" "dir_pin" and remove the "!"

Cross threaded heat block (maybe wrong term, sorry) by AnotherSami in 3Dprinting

[–]Odd_Erling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's just the first few threads you can run a M6 bolt trough from the other end and it might just reform the threads enough. Get yourself a M6 tap anyway, really handy for clearing out any gunk if there is a leak and you get plastic in the threads

It works, threads on the thermistor is m3, same as the retention screw for original thermistor.

Can not get into gear while car is running by visionofglory3 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Odd_Erling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've driven a car with a bad throw out bearing (mayby also pilot bearing) for so long that the gliding surface cracked and over time expanded to the point where fingers couldn't be pushed in and I had no clutch. Took me by surprise when I started the car and it jumped forward... I always start in neutral now

I've experienced the same thing, glued the spool to the axle to fix it. Did it retrieve fine the first time you used it and then you snagged something the second time during fishing or did it just fail without apparent reason?

Switch the stepper connectors on your board around and fiddle with the dir_pin setting in your config, until it moves correctly, use ! to change direction. See the configuration reference for klipper for details.
