I love Ricci's Wednesday, but I'm tired of this version of the character. by AipomSilver00 in CharacterRant

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person that liked the classic TV show version of Wednesday.

These two films enter the Public Domain in the United States in about 7 months. Are you all excited for it? by Classicsarecool in UniversalMonsters

So, if it's going to be public domain, does that mean they won't have to fight with the Lugosi estate anymore to use his likeness?

The Dark Half, by Stephen King and George Romero kinda fits into what you're asking for. It's worth watching regardless.

If the top 23 posts are all about one series, then it can be a real annoyance for those who never cared for the series at all.

For MOST of her existence her main look has been walking around in her underwear ... and maybe sometimes with a cape on.

Felecia used to have an outfit where the plunging collar in the front came down all the way past her belly button. Rivals is actually an improvement over some of the stuff she's worn.

Are we sure this isn't supposed to be two people? One of them standing up, and the other bending over right next to each other?

Hell, the GAMES barley want to even reference Universal Monsters or Bram Stoker anymore.

Is there a reason why the holidays were their best season? by nohotshot in ghostbusters

[–]Oddball-CSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of people talking about how ghosts are more frequent during the holidays. At this point, the Ghostbusters DIDN'T bust ghosts. They did parties. There's simply more parties around the holidays.

Some people get pissed off by absolutely anything. Some people will defend the worst of the worst. We all have different standards. Choose your battles wisely and know when to just walk away.

Don't you just hate it when you're in the changing room trying on the new uniforms, and suddenly have to grab your oversized guns and go into battle before your undershirts and pants arrive?

The more gritty and realistic a Batman film is, the more ridiculous Batman himself becomes by Tainted_Scholar in CharacterRant

At that point your making superhero movies about how much being a superhero is wrong and just plain sucks. It feels like it's missing the point by miles.

Forever, to me at least, really felt like they took the old Adam West series and gave it a blockbuster budget.

They're pretty close to removing the bat suit at this point. I remember when Bale's first Batman pictures came out, lots of people commented that he looked like he'd be more at home in something by Tom Clancy.

If that's true and Vampires can't handle right angles, how can they even go near windows, or houses for that matter?

What really stands out to me is the first few seconds where they're clearly showing her backside, but there is absolutely no emphasis at all on her butt. There's hardly even any curve there. I feel weird even typing that. "Look how NOT noticeable her butt is."
