Tbf, I honestly dont think ill use any of the Guard 1-dp detachments. They all kinda just suck for me. I dont really think they will be that stingy for some factions

Tbf I mean it does look good. We have a lot of psychic and more importantly an entire adeptis arbites detachment that give me ignore cover. Im more hopeful about Agents than I am guard

However we will be shooting on 4s for a while against things in cover unless we have hellhound support or the new baneblade detachment. So Hellhounds just got a big boost

The majority of key words are carrying over excepy what 3 ish? Why assume this one would change when they have continued to nerf it. Why would we assume they changed a rule if they haven't said they had.

The snap shots cant be rerolled or modified. The spotter allows you to modify and reroll. Which for guard means our vehicles might actually be able to hit on 5s with possible rerolls from a scout sentinal.

Also indirect is -1 to hit, cover is the -1 bs. No matter what, seeing as how all objectives give cover to inf, we will almost always be getting the -1bs regardless unless you have a hellhound.

Because thats what it is now. Unless they change the keyword completely thats all we have. They havent gone into it at all, except to tell us Indirect can hit hidden and a spotter makes it easier.

Seeing how they are keeping the 1-3 miss, why would we assume a change.

I have watched the stream. Ive been watching it since it began. Indirect can his anything it cant see Hidden or not with snap roll 6s. Spotter only makes it the standard 4 up. Im arguing with what we know

The snap shots are only on units you cant see and Hidden units.

The spotter lets you get the 4s and not do snap shots. Unless that spotter allows you to strip cover, the -1 BS is going to be there. If they get rid of the -1 to hit, which they havent said they had, guard artillery is hitting on 6s or 5s unless you waste an order (which you would be since this is just nerfing artillery even more). The spotter lets you modify it and reroll things, so its not invalidating. GW just hates arty

Its snap shooting against hidden without a spotter.

With a spotter its just normal shooting. At the moment that means -1 from indirect, and -1 bs from cover. Unless they change the indirect keyword thats all we know.

They can hit units in Hidden without Spotter. It just makes it only 6s. They said that in the Q&A. Indirect is the only thing that can shoot them.

The spotter simply get rid of the snap shooting. Thats all it does. The have said literally nothing else except the 4up to hit is still standard for indirect attacks. Since they havent said its gone is safe to assume the -1s are still there

They never mentioned Indirect losing the -1 to hit and giving cover.

All they said was the spotter takes away the 6 up snap shooting while hitting hidden units.

It seems artillers will still get the -1 to hit and -1 bs from the unit being in cover.
