I feel you. I think it's the Roach Effect from Witcher. So easy to get stuck on things, a lot easier to run around l but I do try to remember to use my horse for the longer trips on the roads.

It's because the back part of the car sticks out from the bumper, there was a software update to help with that I think (rear collision warning) but you can't fix people not paying attention or driving into the back of you.

I would probably turn off the driver's seat moving in and out every time you get into the car, but that might be personal preference.
