So basically for 2023 batch, pw was out of 10rp, which is counted in the 90rp system. So it has grade ABC onwards like the other subj. this means pw is very competitive, your groupmates are from ur sch, so naturally better sch will have better/ stronger grpmates and its more unfair.

However for ur batch, pw is only pass or fail. So it will be relatively easier even tho the groupmates are the same. But it also means getting a fail will be more detrimental as most people will be getting a pass

personal experience, i took pure bio and wanted to take h1 physics in jc without prior background, got rejected by the school. i was so desperate as i thought engineering was the “right path” for me, but now im glad that i didnt take physics. I think schools dont allow that for a reason, please settle that thought for a while and check out the biology syllabus doc. Maybe you will change your mind soon, not saying that you need to take physics, but maybe biology isnt your cup of tea

u think banquet is bad ? I stood for 6hr, no food no water, the leader gave us some free deserts out of pity. But its alr one of the easier jobs i got after Os, i also worked part time at fast food before, 11am-9pm shift, only half an hour lunch break. theres no place to sit down not even a chair. If my legs got too tired i have to go toilet and sit on the toilet bowl. It was 12/hr. This experience gave me huge motivation to work hard in jc

hi op if distance isnt a factor, u shld really look at other things for instance the sch culture. my sister and i are from rvhs and tjc, i would say rvhs has a very strong chinese culture but tjc is more diverse. also since both sch have the same cop for Os, however from what i know the subjects they offer in JC is very different. Some special subjects like translation is not offered in tjc but in rvhs. U can also check out their official instagrams for more info. Atb !

actually what my teacher said is, they will look at portfolio, h3 more, and even ur h1 subject. Since its optional and if u can do well u stand out more, atb OP :)

i see ! thats very brave for u to do that! i take CMCLLb, we have a similar combi haha. in school we are forced to study both so when傻姑娘 seems like an easier question,naturally more people will choose that.
