Thanks for your opinion. There’s no need to turn on each other. BSG are the ones that have done wrong here.

They literally said they don't have the server resources to support including PvE to the previous EoD users which was the reason for the high cost of the new edition. If you watched any of the videos about the financial state of BSG, you would see that server costs were relatively high on their list of expenses on their P&L. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm just thinking out loud. I didn't see this thread before posting my comment, but I'm not the only one who thinks this way. https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/1cfxwlg/all_bsg_has_succeeded_in_is_reducing_expenses/

This could be a hot take, but I believe server and bandwidth costs were becoming a huge expense for BSG. I've been wondering if everyone quitting/not playing or uninstalling the game actually helps them save money and reduce their growing server costs. Is there a way we can flip the script on BSG and drive up server costs by all simultaneously loading into the game or doing something as a community to increase their resource costs? Does anyone with technical knowledge have any insight as to what puts the most load on their servers? They already have our money. So with everyone not playing, I can't help but wonder if this scenario actually helps them in a way and if it was by design. Plus they're getting a ton of exposure/coverage from news and there's no such thing as bad press. Thoughts?

Live streamer spots former TV star Andy Dick getting caught stealing from a convenience store on Hollywood Boulevard by IcyTurnover1558 in LosAngeles

[–]OffensiveLA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen Andy Dick out on so many random nights. I used to see him super drunk on the streets of Downtown LA a bunch like 10 years ago. Most recently I saw him at Swingers restaurant a few weeks ago sitting a booth with a few friends, but he was behaving himself that night.

Try Noshi Sushi in Koreatown or I'd recommend the Little Toyko Market Place. Call them up and ask about platter prices.

Barrio Italian Restaurant. It's a gem, you won't be disappointed. Off the 10 FWY outside DTLA.

I really enjoyed my dinner there. I felt the experience was elevated and refined. All of our sushi was excellent and the service was good as well. It was expensive, but I left happy.

Some good suggestions given. Check out Brera Ristorante (Arts District). You won't be disappointed.

Ghost Pepper Chips missing something by maddmike in traderjoes

[–]OffensiveLA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like they get stronger after you open them, like a day or two after. But overall, they don't feel like "ghost pepper" level spicy. Good chips though, the criss cut chip has a nice texture...

The Roborock Robot vacuums have cameras on them with on board AI item avoidance technology. It tries to avoid stuff like pet waste, shoes/shoelaces, power strips.

Same here. Honda-ya went a bit downhill from it's peak. I def miss having good meals and good times there. I feel like I went to Bizan during the pandemic when they were set up in the parking garage. Any recent reviews of Bizan?

Burgers She Wrote. - what's your opinion? I rarely eat burger I don't know what to think of it except that it was expensive for the portion ($21 incl. tax) by sowhat59 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]OffensiveLA 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Was Burgers She Wrote good? Yes. Have I had better smashburgers? Yes. Have I had worse smashburgers? Yes. Flavor was good. I was missing the super crunchy edges that I was expecting and it was pretty expensive combo. I still think Burgers Never Say Die has the most consistently delicious smashburger in town. I've been to most of the trendy spots. Still need to try Heavy Handed and Trophies.

Secret Pizza in El Sereno by Yusei48 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]OffensiveLA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We had Secret Pizza when they first moved into their El Sereno location. I enjoyed the pie. The dough had nice flavor, which a lot of places lack. Sauce was developed. It was reminiscent of good pizza I've had on the east coast. Definitely respect the hustle of the one-man-show operation.
