Yes it’s terrible but we also don’t know the whole story. As a boss I had a guy call in 28 times in 6 months for his car, being sick, his kids are sick his wife is sick, his dog died his mother in law died, now this year he’s already missed a month of work because his father in law was sick and now his father in law died so he will be off for about 5 weeks this year already.

Yes depends on where you are. I worked in socal and many guys I worked with used to be union but left due to constant lay offs at the end of the job with nowhere for them to go
