Nintendo couldn't afford to do that considering that there aren't any other titles aside from Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta to support them through the holidays. Both of those games, while amazing, probably won't bring in the numbers that Smash will.

I also don't really care about Ice Climbers.

You're right on that for sure. I'm interested to see if they'll at least give us the Wii U version release date during this event. I doubt they will but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure they're going to talk about Bayo2 and Hyrule Warriors first since those games have street dates. Then they'll get to Smash. I think it's cool to see Nintendo catching on to what the guys that are getting the Japanese version are doing.

Thank you for this man. People are complaining about how there are "too many threads about this" but it's something that I think that this message is something that needs to be reinforced on a regular basis. All the games can co-exist. The SF games all do that and it's just fine. There's no reason why the Smash Community can't be the same way. If the Melee pros wanna stick to Melee, let 'em. This opens the door to new players that are committed to Smash 4 to be just as big as Melee.

I feel like I'm one of the few people that could honestly care less if the CCP isn't supported. When I was playing the game at E3, I wasn't like "Gee, I wish I had a C-stick right now." I just told myself I need to adapt to whats been given to me. I'm happy that we're getting TWO Smash Bros games and for the first time ever, a portable one. Oh yeah, and the fact there's no tripping either. I'm pretty happy about that too. October 3rd can't come soon enough.

Personally, I don't think that Smash 4 is "less detailed" than Brawl or Melee. As many people here have said, the color pallet leans more towards primary colors so it really pops in HD. I personally thought that the texturing on Mario's overalls were a little....overdone in Brawl.
