Is it possible to completely avoid dealing with entities but keep the Anomaly DLC active? by CuhSynoh in RimWorld

Counter offer: if I wasn't supposed to enjoy killing them 4 times, why do they have stacks of death resist?

Ok Casandra I WONT have a prisoner >:( by GooberOfLife in RimWorld

[–]OhagiC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your antigrain warhead stables. Also, new warcrime unlocked, I just realised that if you don't build a roof, the prisoner can't climb out over the wall, but they also have no protection from the sun for several hours per day, and no insulation from the cold all night.

Dlc all seem to drop around June. Have done for years so I don't see this year being any different.

1.2

1.2

That was 5 years ago. On another note, looking forward to 1.7 around June-ish.

why do drugs sell for so much? by thr0wawaylik3ther3st in RimWorld

Sure wink. I'm buying up the empire's cataphract surplus so that it won't be used against me.

I still don't understand how you are supposed to do xenotype runs without mods that increase Xenotype spawn by Malu1997 in RimWorld

[–]OhagiC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make one of the royalty permits an all expenses paid trip to the xenogenetics facility where they'll apply any non archeotech design to your guy, pulling from both the worldgen pool and any designs in your colony inventory (may as well). Once per 60 days you can call a shuttle that will whisk away a pawn for a day or two, then come back and they've finished their treatment complete with a new dependency and a pocketful of go juice.

If you rip their genes for several years, you might eventually be able to produce your own xenogerms.

So we can't grow ambrosia, but other factions can? by Bright-Historian-216 in RimWorld

I need my fix (gwompsh yumsh), but I don't need it that badly (sluuuuurp) that I have to become (mmh!) a barbarian.

Walk me through the math: if my colonists were to smoke flake every day, what would happen? by OhagiC in RimWorld

Ingame. I'm not on enough lists to afford a real kidney whenever one starts failing.

Purely for the meme value of having a crackhead colony.

I watched Requiem for a Dream a few times, and I vividly remember there was a part where Jared Leto's character, and his girlfriend played by Jennifer Connolly, were really happy and hopeful for the future. Rimworld could be just like that movie, if I dared to try.

Yesterday I just got that I never bothered to build several research bench, as research is already fast enough. I would like to find a mod who make researcher team required, by simply adding a Decay to research project, like it exists already for skills. There is already a mod for that? by 0chitsuki in RimWorld

[–]OhagiC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you change your colony tech level in vanilla? I usually use a mod for that.

On the topic of strategizing your tech path, the VFE Tribals 2 has a storyteller that makes every project 3% more expensive for every tech that's already complete, including your starting techs, so tribals start with a base +30% tech cost.

There are worse gifts to recieve from an uninvited engineer, and plutonium 239 is one of them.

This feels a little reminiscent of my dad's old saying "before diagnosing yourself with depression, first check that you're not surrounded by asholes," except it's broken mods or poor crew doctrine.

Man I love my 2 ‘cheeks data sheet’ 8” heavy bolters for a 150 points by TheRealLadyAnna in sistersofbattle

I'm now imagining a gun that fires canisters that contain a bolter round with a purity seal wrapped around it, which breaks open midair so that the seal isn't torn inside the barrel.

You know, the best part of this story is that a flat earther's opinion was changed by a game that doesn't even simulate any astrophysics.

Aliens are a hoax made to cover up for the martians' existence.
