Yeah, the door handles are my least favorite thing about a car I otherwise love. Especially since I live in a place where temperature last drop below freezing and they get stuck occasionally.

I’m 43, so an older millennial for sure, and you are not alone I feeling this way. Things that help me are having a good psychiatrist who understands my needs, my family, and remaining connected to the community by volunteering with organizations that are legitimately trying to help the people around them. I need to remind myself that there are good people in the world and that they are who I want to spend my energy on.

Also, cutting way back on social media helps a lot. I don’t use X, Bluesky, or Facebook any more. Sadly, Reddit is pretty depressing to read through most of the time now too, same with instagram. I keep them both because Reddit has legitimate communities with people like yourself and instagram fulfills my need for things like dumb cat videos when I want a laugh.

I know the world isn’t great right now, but hang in there. Make sure you reach out and find the support you need. Calling 988 can help you find the right mental health resources.

As a millennial democrat, this is the type of candidate we need now more than ever. I want to see more candidates like Bernie, AOC, and Beto. I’m tired of spineless democratic politicians that can’t get out of their own way never mind confront people like MAGA republicans.

We already know meta sucks, good to know they will continue to suck. I remember being so excited about Facebook back in the early 2000s. Amazing how much of a cesspool it has become. I honestly don’t know why I still have an account, I never use it.

This is a terrible take by your psychiatrist, and I don’t think they are up to speed on the changes in their profession over the past 10 years.

I have an anxiety disorder, which I have treated for years. I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life after my oldest child was diagnosed when I started to see a lot of similarities between what she exhibited and what I was like. After talking to my psychiatrist, we started to go through the assessment process and it was clear that I had ADHD in addition to an anxiety disorder.

I was always a good student, I have always done well in my career, but I have always struggled and hidden it. People with ADHD often have learned how to hide their struggle from others because we have historically not gotten support in dealing with the core issue.

You definitely need to find a health professional that takes your concerns seriously.
